Mass Combat System

Before Fight Status:

When massive legions of troops stare at each other they have certain things on their side that makes them have a advantage or disadvantage. A advantage would be the General giving a epic speech that inspires his men, while a disadvantage would be looking up into the sky and seeing a Omen telling of the death of your Army. for each dot the army has over the opposing is a +10 to all rolls throughout the battle.

Now your most likely thinking, what does this mean in game terms? Well in game terms it looks like this, here is a standard Mine War between Goblins and Dwarves.

Goblins Before Fight Status:
Home Front: 1 dot gain
Home field advantage: 1 dot
Good Morale: 1 dot
These are standard dots, now say the Goblins have been losing alot of late, then they get this going on to them
Losing Streak: 1 dot loss
This is no serious loss and can be dealt with, now lets look at the Dwarves

Dwarves Starting Status:
Home Front: 1 dot
Tunnel Fighters: 1 dot
Fearless: 1 dot

Now the Dwarves are all enraged after the Goblins burned down a Dwarf temple and killed the Queens daughter, they also are fresh and ready to fight, and they have a Veteran leader who has fought Goblins before.

Burning Hate: 1 dot
March of Justice: 1 dot
Unbeatable Leader: 1 dot
Old Enemy: 1 dot

The Goblins don't look like they are in such a good spot now do they? In fact as the battle go's on they most likely will lose their morale dot also and the Dwarves will gain ANOTHER for seeing the enemy in fear and showing no mercy, now what the Dwarves don't know is that reinforcements for the Goblins are on the way which adds a 2 dot bonus at first making the first one's morale jump up seeing help and their hope rising, it go's down to 1 dot after a few rounds as their saviors don't make instant changed in the battle, visa versa if the Dwarves got reinforcements the Goblins would gain a minus 2 and the Dwarves a plus 2, if a enemy army has a Fearless general it is unaffected by enemy reinforcements.
