Sorry that it was a bit confusing. The Bith Separatist tech is Iejita, and she is in the ancient lift room with you. She was talking to you because she needed to boost your comm signal so it could get through the shaft and surrounding rock. Once she did that you were able to call out and Tylen answered. Tylen was monitoring your frequency, because the Republic ship asked him to contact you and let you know the situation with the General's ship.

Much better, than you. Will adjust accordingly.

Re: The Cantina (OOC)

Hey, I just kind of left the post there in case anyone wanted to comment or have some dialogue before Boss attempted to blast his way through the door at the top of the shaft.

In other news, Part 4 of the Chapter 1 Mission Diverted is available on SoundCloud for a review of your adventure. This one K1T1 is the star as she hacks the Bissian government systems and gains the location of General Toggus' ship. The group then heads to the Weeping Wampa cantina and eventually meets up with the Smuggler Captain Tylen Rhezzik.

Re: The Cantina (OOC)

Sorry for the relative radio silence, everyone.  I'm studying pretty hard for my Surgical Boards that are this coming Thursday.  I'll poke my head in briefly every once in a while until then.

Also I neglected to do conflict for the Jedi, in Chapter 1. There really wasn't much in Chapter 1.  I gave 1 point each just due to using lethal force on the Nexu. It was a conflict after realizing it was a mother to two adolescent animals and was just protecting its young. Even though you didn't know it at the time.

You can roll that now for chapter 1. If you aren't familiar with that, you roll a d10. You take your roll and subtract the conflict from it, and that is added to your current Morality. (ex. you have 1 conflict and roll a 5, there for Morality goes up +4. If you had Morality 50, it is now 54).

I put forward that Tarrin shouldn't get that Conflict since he didn't fight it because he tried to appease the beast and got his face eaten for his trouble.  xP

So, what's the verdict? We've got glow rods on where we need to go. Do we have ropes yet? Is escape clear?

How are you handling the prisoner transfer up to the ship? Are you taking the Nikto guard and all 3 techs up also?

Ah, I like it! And we don't even know she's done it until K1 makes it to the top of the shaft. What a way to end the chapter.

Re: The Cantina (OOC)

Is Tarrin waiting on further convincing from the others, or just busy to post? I could ramp up the tension with incoming Bissian air patrol, forcing your hand at leaving... perhaps that would be more dramatic anyway.

I've just been thinking about how to make this properly dramatic without going full Hayden Christensen.  xD

Re: The Cantina (OOC)

There we go.  I feel like that's appropriate.  Officially giving you guys OOC approval to grab Tarrin and drag him off with you all.  Just don't forget his lightsaber, please.

I think it's more in character for him to lose himself a bit in depression here, so I can't really move him the way I would otherwise.  It's a bit of the limitation of the roleplay aspect of the game, but I wouldn't trade it away.  After all, Tarrin's a character who has shown a great deal of aptitude in many fields of being a Jedi, and this mission has basically crushed his sense of "I'm a great Jedi that can help anyone."  It's a rather major blow to his psyche, and I think I should roleplay that up a bit.

Re: The Cantina (OOC)

Personally, I can almost see a shot showing the Clone and the Jedi fighting the Droids - cue up the sad fighting music - and two of Tarrin's fellow Padawan's grabbing hold and pulling him away from the edge while the fighting continues. Perhaps Relliri uses the 'sabre to deflect a pair of bolts before a third hit and Tarrin is pulled away as Relliri falls ... before being removed from the scene with tears in his eyes.

But that's just my 0.02 credits, plus any Imperial taxes.

Re: The Cantina (OOC)

 How is everyone doing?

I am waiting to see Tarrin's reaction to Jini's death, before we move on to the next episode and some down time for training, more XP spend, etc... or we can just go with that Tarrin is unable to speak about it and put it off until the group leaves the planet. Raana felt the death as well, but not as strong as the others that have been travelling and fighting along side of her.

I would like to move us along before I go on vacation, starting this Friday.. I will be at the beach in Florida until 6/18 and so will have limited time/access, but will try to keep up and answer some questions with my phone whenever possible. I will try to give more detailed information or move the story along in the evenings when I can get on the web where I can actually type.

Re: The Cantina (OOC)

I'll have a response up for you tomorrow.  Sorry, been working on a final presentation that happened to fall on me two weeks early since the physician in charge is going to be out of town the date it was actually supposed to be happen.  So, I'm presenting it tomorrow which means I'm typing furiously at the moment.  -_-
