K1T1 walked about the ship quietly, not wishing to disturb the organics about their assigned tasks. Although he knew the innards of the ship, the droid preferred to see things as they were, as opposed to what they might have looked like on the deck plans. It also gave the 3P0 droid an idea as to where things were in the case of an emergency.
It was also here that the droid knew that should be become damaged, it would more than likely be the Technicians and such that would be looking into any repairs and possible modifications in the future.
But K1T1 also knew that any droid was simply a 'clanker' to most of the Clone troops that had been encountered. The 'Separatists' use of the Class I Battle Droid had cast a negative light on almost any other droid type with the soldiers of the Grand Clone Army. It was something that reminded K1T1 of a far darker period in its history, where it was little more than a tool of a different sort...
It emerged from the forward docking ring and moved its way back, making small notes of what was in place and configuring access and egress points should it be necessary to depart the ship quickly.
K1T1 walked back towards Engineering and looked for the person who might be able to assist it with a diagnostic check...
