Re: The Canteen (OOC)

~laughs~

Hello Jeanne.

You saw that alarm has been blown down at the warehouse?

There are so few games that make it past the opening scenes, I tend to bump into a lot of the same people when I bounce from game to game.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

I did! It's been a busy week, going to try and post tonight... Stupid door getting in the way of Jeanne getting her stab on.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Hopefully we get past the first scene... I've got three acts worth of story planned out.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Question for the Speaker.

If Nexus sent a text from her phone to Belinda's, could Sparky use its Influence to travel along with that text and enter Belinda's phone?  If the Gauntlet was too strong it wouldn't be able to Manifest, obviously, but it wouldn't be a bad way to get a spy inside the building.

*raises finger, lowers*

Would this spy be planted well ahead of our arrival, or shortly prior?

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Probably shortly before, unless I know for sure Spark-of-the-Invisible-Wave can get back to its friendly Nexus just as easily.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

@Nexus
Technically I don't think that's a thing spirits can do. I'm going to double check the rules, but for now I'm going to say no.

What kind of spirit is it by the way? Information? Signal?

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Information and Electricity.

If changing that Electricity to Signals or even WiFi will make it easier, I'm down.  If it's not a possibility at all, that's cool too.

Heads up all, I'm going on a business trip for a week. Should be regularly posting Monday onwards, but tomorrow and Sunday are unknowns.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Yep, pulled from a dead Mage game that was meant to happen in the States.

Upon reflection, a lot my NPC's are from dead Mage games and are also American... should probably change that.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Ah, alright. I was all set up to have Clasm wondering if that was a weird British thing, but with that in mind it's a Stele thing... that the others might mistake for an American thing, come to think of it.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Question: Would you all like a chance to travel and talk, or would you like me to set the scene as if you're a few minutes away from the address given?

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Depends on whether or not we go with Operation American Neighborliness At London. Clasm would want to check with the members of the group that are actually British first. I, as a player, have been waiting on such individuals to post.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

I was still wondering if there was any way I could let my Familiar jump from phone to phone with influence.

Other than that I'm good just dropping by the house.

To confirm, you can't have Sparky travel to another phone by texting it.

I'm fine with cutting to arriving at the address, unless other people want to do anything in particular on the way.

Show of hands perhaps for who's on-board with the tea and crumpets plan?  I can provide aura masking for the group if we decide to go in covertly.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

I'm voting against, because Clasm thinks it's weird and doesn't trust a fellow American to know British social rules. If we do wind up doing it, she'll have objected between scenes. Particularly since the destination would otherwise only be a few minutes away.

Re: The Canteen (OOC)

Unless I'm missing something, Hayfich is an hour away from Devonshire. You'll all have plenty of time to have discussed the pros and cons of pretending to be a friendly bunch stopping by with tea.
Regardless, I have a bit of reading to do and then I'll post the description and we can get this ball rolling.
