With my spell, you won't have to roll initiative!

Re: OOC: Chat
Multiply the subjectís Speed by Potency. While under the
spellís effect, the subject always goes first in a turn unless he
chooses to delay his action, in which case he may interrupt any
other characterís turn with his own as a reflexive action, then
return to the front of the Initiative queue the next turn. Other
characters using pre-empting powers provoke a Clash of Wills.
Acting in such accelerated time makes the subject very hard to
hit, but only as long as he is able to concentrate; his Defense
does not change, but add Potency to Defense before doubling
it for Dodge actions (p. 217). He may employ Defense (and
Dodges) against firearms.
+1 Reach: Divide the time per roll of extended actions taken
by the subject by Potency. The spell has no effect on the ritual
casting interval of mages.
+1 Reach: For a point of Mana, Dodge actions taken while
under this spellís effect have the rote quality.

Re: OOC: Chat
Oh! At first glance I assumed it would give him an extra action per turn for free or something. So I guess we're just waiting on Darwin.

@Storyteller. How many fences between our group and some degree of safety?

@Hera

You might want to edit your post then. We need to get her to safety.

Re: OOC: Chat
How are we doing Defense and the like, since it modifies the die pool?  Other games I'm in just knock off the last x dice, like they were never rolled.

Also are botches houseruled in?  Because unless I am missing something, you only risk a Dramatic Failure on a chance die.

Re: OOC: Chat
I assume initiative in this game works like most games, as in, everyone needs to go before you go again, yeah?

Cause otherwise I am down to charge the other guy, haha!

And yeah, Darwin is busy for two rounds, casting Spirit Summons. Which may not be needed at this rate.

GM the escape team could use a description of what's around us so we can decide how we are getting to safety.

Re: OOC: Chat
Hey guys, I'm extremely sorry that I have been inactive the last few weeks. I got a new job and I dived in and started working as many hours as I could. I really needed some money, but now things have calmed down, and I have motivation to start writing again! So, once again, I apologize for my hypocrisy and my absence. I will have a post up today.

Tis grand RL happens.

I just appreciate the fact you're willing to run this game (and give me the opportuntiy to learn both nWod 2nd edition and Mage the Awakening in particular)

So....thank you!

Re: OOC: Chat
RL can suck sometimes. Happy you are back.

Don't forget, the girl has Red Light/Green Light on her. Ten and Hera shouldn't have any trouble with the environment. Now that they are in the car, everything should fall into place for them.

Re: OOC: Chat
Outward and Inward Eye (Space 1) would be a better choice. See through the walls and around the house without having to leave cover as long as within sensory range. Scrying would be limited to sensory range anyway because you have no sympathetic connection to these people and it's pointless to accept the negatives to try anyway.

You also get two free Reach with the spell.
