Church of Erastil
Welcome to the Church of Erastil.  As is common in the faith, the Church is used both as a place of worship as well as the town hall.  Community is after all a key part in worship of Erastil.  Visit here for news and announcements.

This topic is where all announcements about Little Big Town will be made.

Ham sat, quietly, in the furthest pew from the altar at the front.

He was clearly deep in thought.

Moses, sensing distress of an internal nature, approached and asked kindly
"May I help you with anything, friend Ham?"

Ham started almost imperceptibly, but then turned to Moses and exhaled deeply.

"Perhaps one day, Moses, perhaps - today I just needed to think about things a bit."

Ham stood and quietly padded off, pausing only at the doorway as Moses watched.  He turned
and asked desperately:

"Tell me, does Erastil like dice?"

Today: Ham the Farmer rolled 65 using 8d20 with rolls of 4,5,7,16,3,11,1,18.  Testing dice roller's prejudice against Ham.

Seriously,  7 of 9 dice rolls (including profession roll) couldn't even beat a 7.  I'm cursed!

Moses shakes his head.  "Sorry my friend, but he would view that vice as a distraction to take one away from their work."

Moses strode into the main hall and did a double-take.

There, on the rearmost pew, sat Ham.  Ham had only one time shown up at the Church
outside of services, and he was not the most regular attendee in the first place.

He walked up to Ham who seemed to be chewing on a thought.

"Ham, my friend - it has been months since we last chatted one on one.  May I
help you with anything?"

Ham started, as though surprised his presence would have merited comment by Moses.
He seemed indecisive.  Under his breath he muttered something, and Moses heard only
a fragment that sounded like "can't think any less of me" or some such.

Ham stood up and shook his head politely - "Thank you, Moses, but I am still
sorting things out in my head.  I'm sorry to have bothered you."

He turned and once again paused at the doorway - Moses waited expectantly as Ham
grappled with his thoughts.  Ham turned, just as he once had months earlier.

"So, what about playing cards?  Is Erastil against those too?"

Sensing Moses would have no different an answer on the cards topic, Ham left dejectedly,
placing a small pile of cards on the pew's edge.  Moses overheard Ham muttering -
something like "7 2 off-suit, figures" under his breath.

As the door closed shut behind him a gust of wind snuck through and scattered the pile
to the floor.  Moses could see a mix of red and black, and the numbers 2, 4, 5, 7, and 9,
and picked them up with a shrug.

Moses watches as Ham leaves.  While not technically the same religion the Green Faith and that of Erastil were very closely entwined.  He looks down at the cards and sighs.  While a good friendly game in the community is always a good thing, cards had a tendency to lead to dark things that were not at all good for the community.
