07:33, Today: Sam Mug Pelter rolled 15 using 1d20+6.

The previous enthusiasm Sam had the past few weeks tapers off a lot as the day to day tasks of normal life begin to set back in.

The Work Week
Work week ending 10/29 is now open.  PLEASE note that if you will be here for the adventure on the 28th you DO NOT make a roll this week (no cost of living either).  That should be everyone with the possible exception of Ham.

Not that great of a roll......but that's ok - compared to everyone else, apparently Sam is the only Hobbit that works in this town.  That's fine - give me your money!

Well you are a bartender, and your wife is a cook.  So yes, in a hobbit town I am sure you two are very busy. :)

Everyone else does work, apparently they are just taking 10.  One of these days you will roll a 20 and get all that extra silver.

The Work Week
Ham has not been seen much in town, and he has missed out on much of the story telling and celebrating that immediately followed the spider attack.  What few glimpses people have had of him they may have noted his disheveled appearance, though recently it is apparent that he has refocused a bit and is back to working the land.

21:19, Today: Ham the Farmer rolled 22 using 1d20+6.  Working the fields.

The Work Week
Bandy eased open the door to his porch to let his dogs back in, on a crisp late January morning.

Something seemed a little different today, however, and it only took a moment to realize what it was.
Where things from over in the direction of his neighbor had (much to Bandy's approval) been silent
these past weeks, there were now clearly the sounds of .. well, farming, he figured.  In the quiet
wintry air the sounds carried well and he could hear the sounds of toil in the field across the road.

Though he could not hear the words, the tone of the murmurings that barely made earshot suggested
that Ham might be encountering some hard soil and making little progress.

11:33, Today: Ham the Farmer rolled 10 using 1d20+6.  Working the fields.

"Don't know what he thinks he's on about - he should've been working that soil more regular like
these past couple of months!"

It bothered Bandy to no end that Ham seemed quite the inadvertent, and inconsistent, farmer, yet
his fields yielded a bounty that belied that fact.
