USS Odyssey. She earned a field promotion during the battle of Vulcan when her CO was killed during Nero's attack. After managing to save the lives of her surviving crew, she was given the permanent rank of Captain. With a history of bravery under fire and diplomatic ingenuity, Captain Tabin was a natural choice to command the Vigilant during her five year mission.
