Zu comes out of the bowels of the beast covered in oil and grime, but smiling broadly. He cradles several strange-looking items in his arms. As soon as he's in the open, the nano deposits his treasures on the ground and pulls a cloth out of a pocket in his shorts. He starts to wipe each of his new toys clean with quick, practiced motions.
"Found some good stuff in there. I think it'll be useful."
Gaiu seems impressed, but Atharryn just sniffs. "Looks filthy to me."

The first item is small , like a pen or stylus. As Zu cleans it , it gives a quick click. It then extends to over six times its size. Zu looks it over and smiles. You realize you have found an electron fuser. This device bonds an area of spinning electrons between two surfaces. Using the atomic forces to create an atomic bond between the rod and the surface. Anything short of  seven tons can not dislodge this device unless the user lets go of it first.


The second item is a universal power source. A free energy engine. large enough to power a midsized vehicle. Or run a large number of smaller devices. The energies can also be harnessed and siphoned to power something else.

The third item is a data crystal. Some of it is corrupt , blackened and dark from age and damage but some 20-10% of the data should still be viable.

Tessa cocks her head again at Dokahlis and smiles. She turns and walks towards the Necrosi female and begins pulling out her armaments. The Narcosi takes each in turn and tags each with a tag. Half of which is torn off and given to Tessa. The collection of weapons is pretty standard for a city dweller. Small caliber firearm with matching rounds. defensive shields generator and stun rod. The real surprise is a sword handle she pulls from one of the seemingly decorative rings on her skirt waistline. As she pulls the handle becomes a blade and then a sword. The sword changes color from black to silver and back again as she hands it over.
"D-storage", she explains . " mini dimension I can store the beefier items in." She also pulls out a grenade that has been spray painted pink, with the image of HELLO KITTY on it.
The Narcosi takes the weapons and hands the tags. "You can get them when you leave." she says. Then turning to Dokahlis," Alright , your turn." she says eyeing his daggers.

Zu finishes cleaning the items he's recovered in just a few minutes and pockets two of them in his cargo vest. The third one, a box about the size of a small package, he slides into a pocket on his shorts. He looks up and sees the others watching him. With a self-conscious grin, he shrugs his shoulders.
"Found some good stuff. Thanks for waiting."

As an afterthought, Zu adds "Ah. I found an energy cell, so if there are any vehicles we find that just need power, I can wire it in."

"The bike ,mine is sputtering and coughing up more black smoke then a newly minted techno priest acolyte." "I think they will get us to were we are going."

Tessa smiles again and motions to follow her. They walk through the main double doors to the main club area. Pass the two semi-giant Narcosi , dressed in tight leather and wielding wicked weapons, a combination of ballistic throwers and multi edged and bladed clubs. As they enter, Dokahlis is glad for the shield and eyewear. The interior is drenched in U.V. light with club lasers at odd intervals. The room is posh with expensive booths,tables and other amenities. Part speak easy and part modern light show, the club has low music playing and a relaxed atmosphere. Tessa points out a table and begins walking towards it.

Atharryn and Gaiu snicker at Modelli's joke, but Zu just frowns.
"... 'Like a newly minted techno priest acolyte'?" He shakes his head slowly. "I don't get it."
This, of course, makes green tears well at the corners of Atharryn's eyes as she tries to hold in her laughter, but Gaiu guffaws loudly and slaps his knee.
Zu purses his lips and stalks past them. "Let's go," he demands curtly, and stops to face Modelli squarely with his back to the others.
"Dream Street?"

Modelii nods. Indicating a message that just came in before his crash,"Seems a contact of mine sent this a few moments before my stunt." He points to the cracked and scratched screen of the comm. "I hit the received button , but didn't have time to see the reply. So we have to hurry."

Zu's and Gaiu's bikes work fine same as Modelii's. Atharryn's does not. " Zu." says Modelii. "Can you let her ride with you?" He then starts his bike and begins heading in the direction of the second ring of the city.

Atharryn smiles cattily. "My hero," she coos as she mounts the bike and slips one hand around his waist.
Zu tenses up immediately, which causes Atharryn no little amount of amusement.
Gaiu just glares.

"Them?" asked Tessa. "Those are  Narcosi goliath's not the infernal types, the more like us type."  "Their eunuchs of course, all their hormones make them very violent, so,..." she cups one hand and makes a clipping motion  with the other. " They make good guards and the Narcosi use them for such. Thats why they have their weapons." She continues walking into the center of the room. " There they are." says Tessa pointing to a booth in the VIP area of the establishment.

Sitting at the VIP area of the COBALT CLUB , Modelii poured another glass of 200 proof Vosh for himself. The bottle sweating leaving drops of water on the blue tablecloth. He looked over to his companions and offered to fill their glasses. "Its hard to come by this. Back when I was a videk runner , we used to have what passed for the authorities back then run a stiff opposition to our product." " Then that all changed fifteen cycles ago and all of this type of drink was made legal." "Can't say I miss being a wanted fugitive, but there was this one time when a certain princess ,...er, borrowed her fathers sky yacht to help us smuggle some into the nine kingdoms." " We were hounded bad." "Seems they thought we had taken the princess as a hostage for ransom." "Well by the end we lost all the Vosh. Had some really determined and not so nice private contractors after us, not to mention the law element." "Still in the end it worked out ok. Even stopped a plot against the girl's royal father. Plus a romance with said princess. That leads to the story of how I got the royal title. Forget what you hear about it being a minor title. That's all Sabine's doing with the help of his friends in the courts,..."

"What happened to the princess? To the romance?" asks Atharryn raising an eyebrow

" It ended as all romances and true love do," says Modelii. "Badly," he finishes as he drains his glass and gives a nonchalant wink over the edge of  his glass

Zu looks sideways at his drink before taking a sip. He wrinkles his nose speechlessly. He doesn't join in the conversation, but rather keeps a watchful eye out for danger or for any signs of pretty tech.
Gaiu knocks back two shots, belches loudly, and starts looking for a third.

"No", says Tessa. "Omar are cyborgs, some say full coversion one's" "Its said they dont sleep, or eat. They don't drink and can't have or even want sex." She lets that sink in for a moment before continuing. "The only thing they seem interested in is commerce." "Which makes no sense at all in that they don't have the main drives behind it. Some say they might be fronts and facemen for someone or something else."

"The Narcosi Goliaths can't have or desire sex, but they eat and drink tons and some have become great gamblers and even better fighters. Ah here we are." says Tessa stopping in front of a table.

"well, Modelii seems you made it after all and on time," says Tessa standing in front of Modelii's table. "Are you regaling your companions with stories of your colorful past?"

Modelii smiles a wide grin and knocks back another glass of Vosh. " Your one of the best city trackers I know Tessa. So when you said you knew they would be here. I figured it would shave some time off our job." Tessa takes a seat at Modelii's table and even pulls out a chair for Dokahlis. " I still want the 10% finders fee and in advance too. I have my flier on the roof on pad 14 if you all need a lift too." she adds pouring herself a glass of Vosh, then looking disgusted as she realizes the bottle is empty after pouring her share.

" Just like old times huh, Tess?" " I do some heavy lifting you give me a boost?"
" And I want a part in your guild Modelii, on a freelancer basis, but still on the roster non the less." "Done and done," says Modelii. "Can you show me what we are getting in return?"
Tessa stands up and moves to the left over to the west railing of the VIP section. She points downward to the "chance pits" a sunken vice area of the COBALT CLUB where private games of chance are held for members. In one of the pits , past the nobles walking around, the corp execs watching the various games and the club security, are non other then Nix Mercer AND Red Max engaged in a game of chance. There is a huge pile of  loot on the table between them, including a cutting edge , V.R. rig. Nix is holding a hand of cards while taking long puffs on a very large cigara. He puffs again blowing smoke in Max's direction and pulling a single gold chip from his vest pocket and tossing it on the center tables pile. This gets a mummer and excited talk in hushed tones from the assembled spectators. Red Max a crimson full conversion borg with an appearance like a muscled human male. Giving the impression of a red metal poured into a perfect if exaggerated human looking mold, looks over from the pot to Nix and back again.

" That chip is worth 200,00 on the current open market. I'd gamble to get it myself if I could," says Modelii.
Looking at the party Modelii asks. "Ok whats our course of action?"

Tessa pulls out a small disc with a red button on it from her transparent coat and clicks the button. "Putting the flier on standby, we might need a quicker lift I think." she says and pockets the disc. " Give me the 3 golden chips Modelii." she says putting her hand out . Modelii seems to reach into his own coat for a moment but then pulls out his hand and grabs Tessa's lifts it and kisses it. "No, Tess."he says. " If its a bluff and fake play. I hold on to the bait,..no offense." "Face man and eye candy?" ask Tessa. Modelii nods. "With a variation." He turns to look at the party then says in a hushed tone. " Over drunk, overly rich noble," he points at himself "Whom," he continues "Has friends that he is willing to front in one of the highest games of chance here at the moment. Old royal court king and his champions he is sending in his stead." He finishes and tosses the gold chips to the party. " We need information, simple question answered. Hopefully we can do that without the need for violence."

[Everyone NOT Tessa, roll a D20 this can be modded with the speed pool ,edges,effort, adventurer pools ect. State your results to see who catches them.]

Modelii nods and then looks at Tessa. " Take your jacket off. Slide it around. Use your girly charms to distract  while we are down there." he says  "Stay moving, eye candy remember,..?" With that he takes her hand and walks down the stairs with the party but not before ordering three rounds of the most insanely expensive drinks for everyone at the clubs lower levels.
