Modelii turns to the grey man and the woman. " If all goes well meet Zu and I at day break at the old "Fliers", graveyard, just outside the city walls." Pausing a moment he regards the woman. " You promised my friend assistance with locating the Omar before that unpleasantness back there." "Are you still willing to help us?" "If not , we had best be on our way, however,...Modelii removes a small leather thong strap from his neck with a small pouch attached to it. He hands it to the grey man. "from one seeker to another." he says. The grey man pulls a small jade like bead from the pouch.
" It weeps neon blue "waters" when the words "lux lateal" are spoken. "the waters seal minor wounds and purge venom and pathogens as well from a wound." " If ever you are in the cities where the name Modelii also mean property owner. Presenting it will gain you entrance into my abodes."

With that Modelii stands back a step allowing for the man and woman to speak.

The horned man accepts the token with a thankful nod and raises his hand, palm out.
"I am Gaiu Sovakesh. May your cyphers never malfunction."
He steps back and turns to the woman, who graces the two adventurers with a brilliant smile.
"And I am known as Atharryn."
She reaches into a small bag at her back, making Zu tense expectantly. She notices his reaction and raises her other hand in peace as she brings out a dagger, which she presents to Modelli hilt first. The molded synth grip seems normal enough save the polished black stone set into its bottom, but the wide, translucent blade sports narrow lines of inert circuitry radiating out toward the edge. Zu leans in to get a closer look.
"In the spirit of exchange, please accept this blade. It is small, but patterned to harness the universal forces of entropy through the matrix embedded in its gem. When you finish a living creature with this weapon, it will erase that creature,  along with all of its clothes and the possessions it carries, entirely from existence. I call it my Null Blade."
"I've never heard of such a thing!" Zu crows in excitement, and Atharryn flashes him a pleased grin. "Where did you find it?"
"I found its model in an Empty Pocket while visiting the Jutting Remnants in the Wyr Lowlands. This one, I made myself," she answers proudly.
The wary monk's eyes open wide, and his gaze shifts from the dagger to the woman and back several times. Finally, he turns back to Modelli and nods with a broad smile. "Suri thinks it's fine," he confirms exuberantly.
Still holding out the dagger to Modelli, Atharryn continues, "As for the rest, we'd be happy to escort your companion to his destination now, and we hope to see you both tomorrow morning at the graveyard." She pauses and a lovely violet color rises in her cheeks, and she adds, "And by the ancients, it will be in the best of health for all of us."

Modelii accepts the blade. Giving the woman a bow, in a style common to the high courts of steadfast. Tucking the blade into his tunic he says. " May the zenith ones light our paths and may the unknowable Hoar gods show the way."

"May truth reign , in truths path and in the unknowable." Says the Grey man finishing Modelli's utterance. "You know of the path of the shard?" the grey man intoned. "such teachings are forbidden in the area, most oft in this very city."

"The shard is know to me." "I spent much of my youth with a sage from the order before my enslavement." " It was very long ago,learning their wisdom but it serves a stranger in strange lands." replied Modelii. He gets a look in his eyes for a moment, then shakes his head a little before saying " When you meet us in the fliers graveyard be sure to be wary of even the oldest hull of the dead machines, as cannibal "husk", rogue threshers, and others roam the ruins of the flying ships. There is also the question of navigating thru the kick murder squad territory to get there." says Modelii stroking his chin. "If I were to suggest the first places to look for the Omar's agents as is our first task. we could check the body chop shops. Or the vice roads in the street of dreams sector." " Which would you suggest?" ask Modelii, looking from the man to the woman, then at Zu.

Zu just shrugs, but Atharryn takes on a pensive look. "When last we saw him, the Omar was operating out of a derelict processing plant on Zeta Run--I think he loves places that have outside walls--but from what I've heard, he's been forced to move since then. I don't know where he currently resides..." her voice trails off as she stares off into the distance for a few seconds, lost in thought.
"Hm. I do have a friend that runs a kiosk in a vending mall a few streets over from here. He would know." She cants her head sideways and lifts a shoulder in a half-shrug. "Or if not, he would know who to ask."

Ok. So seems You and Willamette have made it to mega city 1. There were no incidents on the way there. After your weeks long travel, You arrive at the city. Once there you and Willamette go to the rented flat of Modelii and await his and zu's arrival.

Modelii takes the group through the city. On a short but discreet path along the polluted Brix river, then cutting across the edge of the squatters section. Side stepping the occasional rusted heaps of what used to be vehicles of many sorts and the random bot, they come to Cater street. They walk up to the sidewalk and hail a manned cab.

"Why not get a bot cab?" asks the horned man. Looking to a group on binary droid cabs surrounding a helolift pad/station down the right road. "Those are ok, but cabs that old get twitchy and have glitches and logic errors in their systems." " A friend of mine once had a auto cab fail during the payment part of the ride." "The cab's computer thought my friend  was refusing to pay. It summoned area law enforcement. Friend did two hours  in lock up before the mistake was corrected and before I got there"  "Luckily, it was in a single holding cell and a better station house." says Modelii, shaking his head at the memory.

"Your friend must have felt relived when you came." "Many of the cities law stations are not too friendly," says the grey man. "Then yes. Not so much now." The grey man narrows his eyes and looks at Modelii. "The friend, is one of  my ex girlfriends," smiles Modelii, as a manned cab pulls up to the curb besides the group.




The flat was a somewhat modest affair and at the same time a lavish affair as the interior was distinctly middle class, with synth wood floors and walls and comfortable rooms without expensive trappings. The contents of the flat were another thing entirely as various antiques and valuable nick nacks covered most of the table and furnishings. Voices could be heard outside the front door. As the voices approached the fuzzy images of the owners of the voices could be seen, through the thick glass of the front door. "So she put a bomb in your land transport?" asked the grey man stepping through the door. "She was,...volatile.", answered Modelii holding open the door for the lithe woman and the grey man.

"Was that Teiella? I warned you about her", Modelii." said Willamette sitting on one of the plush living area chairs in the main room. " I just thought you hated her and were putting her in a bad light." said Modelii smiling a wide big smile. " I didn't like her. I also didn't like Lecsera and I warned you about her too." said Willamette raising an eyebrow and smirking at Modelii. "Lecsera wasn't a problem Lecsera's husband was the problem." Modelii then nodded in the direction Umbra and Dokalis. The learned nano sat perched on a vintage dresser in the corner while the vamp stood out of phase between the two. His form while visible was patchy and translucent. Modelii quickly informs them about the attack in the city introduces  the  grey man and lithe woman . He then ask what their next course of action would  be.

"What's to be gained from this attack if we defend? Since my plight in the volcano, I really have lost my direction. The slave girl still isn't speaking to me either. For the first time in my life, I am at a loss of what to do next..."

"We've been contracted to find this missing person. To find him, we need to find the Omar--and in order to find the Omar, we're looking for a friend of sister Atharryn, here. Behind him, the tall, silver-haired woman's lips twitch a little at the title. Zu turns to Modelli. "You should've asked for triple the price," he complains. "This job is turning out to be a pain in the butt."

"I AGREE THAT THIS IS A HUGE PAIN IN THE ASS. I AM GOING TO MASK MYSRLF FROM PRYING EYES AND INVESTIGATE THE CITY FURTHER. !AYBE DO SOME EIZE DROPPING WHILE IM AT IT AND SEE IF ANYTHING DLIPS FROM ANYONES TONGUE."

"Good idea", says Modelii. " The city is huge but I am sure you can find some leads in maybe either Steel Harbor, Dream Street, or even The local churches of the Amber Priest."

"I would also suggest looking for the so called , Nix Mercer. He is a hired gun turned V.R. junkie that knows lots about the,..... hidden in The city." You can find him in the Neon Parlor a V.R. salon on Dream street. Or there is Red Max down in Steel Harbor. He's a full conversion borg that hires out as muscle but that owes me a favor." As for the Amber priest ,........I'm not the church going type. So can't help you there."

Modelii nods, " No question to that however I think we can do both. It will be cutting it close but,....."

"Perhaps it is time we kept part of our bargain. The order of the shard is clear in such matters". says Sovakesh, placeing a large hand on Modelii's shoulder. He turns to Atharryn. "Lets us take these to the agent of the Omar. Then the debt is paid for their aid before."

Atharryn gives a curt nod and walks out the door. They hear her mumble something about various different sects joining forces and how much work that is. As they follow, Modelii calls Back to Willamette. "You coming too?"
"Not me I have crews to employ." "However,...." she throw him a fist sized locator.
"If you get into something you can't get out of activate that and I will try and get there in time." Modelii nods once again and leaves

"I guess you're right" Umbra says, "anything beats moping around here."

"I'll scan the city and see what I can come up with, if anything, maybe i'll find some more information about this tome."

Umbra scans the room and immediate area. But does he notice anything?

She arches a delicate eyebrow and scans the assembled adventurers. "I can find the Omar. I'm sure he would be able to find any information you're willing to pay for, but his prices don't come cheap."

He notices that there in dampening Numenera in the flat. "Sorry," says Modelii turning a hour glass who's sands flow upward instead of down over." You should be able to scan now."
