Umbra continues to scan the area. The Numenera and the light it emits from people look different. The presence of the Numenera is more intense, or maybe Umbra just isn't focusing right.

"Ugh, what that hell happened to me down there?"

Umbra cant shake the difference he feels in the Numenera fields. "To hell with this," he stops scanning, "I'll just go look the old fashioned way."

Umbra walks out of the room and slams the door shut. Maybe being alone will help him focus. He heads out of the building. "hmmm, this is new," he says out loud. Umbra has never had to look for someone without the help of his scanning ability. But the task must be done. Umbra walks away from the building.

Modelii smiles and walks the group to the side of the flat. On the right side of the structure is a sunken dead end street. The street at its end terminates to a low squat synth brick building. Modelii places his finger on a thumb scanner outside the main roller door and with a flash of green and a click, the door slides up revealing five modded heavy cycles. " Each one has a light maser and a light recoiless rifle". Its got a good firing arc. Light but helpful armor and crazy speed." says Modelii slapping the side of the beefy motorcycle and over sized tire. " This will cut our travel time down and give us a little firepower if we are crossing gang territory," says Modelii. He seats himself on a cycle . He begins throwing switches and booting up the onboard comp. He motions the group to do the same.

You catch a brief impression of sounds and voices. You see flashes of people and objects. You see a cupped cut stone on a pedestal. It is blue and you see a fat merchant sitting it near his table at an establishment. You see at the same establishment a veiled woman eye the stone from a distance. Next you see a flash , you hear a woman and men screaming. You see a limp arm flop to the floor bloodied and clutching the pedestal and gem.

Though the hand looks male. It is too small to be from the plump merchant.

Ok the shadow figure leaps a good 50 feet in the air overhead. It dives down towards you. You see a flash of steel as it descends. A gleam of chrome as you catch a quick seconds look into its eyes.
