Modelli's companions stop talking to look over the instrument panels on their bikes. Zu and Atharryn find the controls quickly and activate the links. It takes Gaiu a bit longer to find his, but then he asks, "I'm getting a number of readings on the edge of my scope. Different IFF signatures. Looks like they're down in the streets. Anybody else getting this?"

Ok your pools drain and it swipes at you , but misses. It materializes and you see it is a shadow walker. (A beast used a spies and assassins by the ruling class of resurrection.) You see it morph its claws the palms becoming broader , the fingers and claws becoming thicker and longer. Its head changes too becoming a fiendish smile of gnashing teeth and drool. "Others seek the eye as well, "drakora",(calling you the ancient name for vampire outcast), turn from your quest and find peace. Pursue it and find death", it growls with staggered halting speech.

Modelii send the new vector over to the rest of the group. He sees that the party is headed to a blasted and ruined part of the city. "Lost town", he says. Up ahead he sees husks of buildings, metal eye beams and industrial refuge of all manner. He checks his speedometer. grits his teeth  and activates the targeting computer. " Look out for automated weapons systems and booby traps!" he calls out

Modelii checks his comp scopes again, "Looks like they are not giving up. They are following on an attack vector at flank speed". "Select a weapon to engage in a rear firing arc. Either the light maser or the recoiless rifle. It might be possible to keep them off us." Modelii looks at the scope another time. "def turf gang, def,....maybe worse." He selects the rail gun checks the ammo count and  type, (standard, 20 rnds/explosive 10 rounds/grape shot 12 rounds)(all bikes have the same type and counts)(Maser can do 40 standard shots or 20 burst fire shots before power cell runs dry

Zu switches to the Maser; at this range, he keeps it in single shot. Atharryn selects the rail gun in standard fire mode, and Gaiu goes with the rail gun in explosive mode.
Driving Rolls are as follows:

1. Zu - (1 point from the Adventuring Pool; Z @ 9/10) Speed @ diff 4: 18 success.
   
2. Atharryn - Speed @ diff 5: 9 failed.
   
3. Gaiu - Speed @ diff 5: 12 failed.

If we need to make attack rolls, here they are:

1. Zu - Intellect (Gunnery to-hit): 13.
   
2. Atharryn - Intellect (Gunnery to-hit): 15.
   
3. Gaiu - Intellect (Gunnery to-hit): 13.

The companions take aim and begin firing their rear-mounted weapons at the enemies racing up on them. Meanwhile, Zu cranks his brake and lifts the back end of the bike entirely off the ground to swing it around in a 180-degree reversal. He yells an elated battle cry and speeds at the enemy head-first, guns blazing.

The two npcs have to slow down considerably to navigate the ruins of the city. [ Zu skillfully navigates the ruins and turns to attack]

Modelii fires off a shot before turning as well to face the attackers. (He rolled a 15, he does 8 pts damage on a vehicle and it skids the bike going sideways , the rider tumbling . He then cast his cypher ability that brings everyones difficulty level down one step).

[Zu, and the grey man both miss with their opening shots. The lithe woman scores a hit doing 8pts of damage and the enemy bike goes airborne and crashes down into the dirt road]

The enemy, a collection of petty turf gang types make their attack the cycle riders,(there are 6 still on bikes , one killed by the woman and one on foot from Modelii's shot. They attack there level is 3.)  ( The Titan vehicle , a semi tanker truck like vehicle with multiple offensive weapons opens up, its lvl is 5/15)

I need all three Zu and the 2 npcs to make intellect rolls , 2 per character

Roll to side step another attack,(leaping attack), from the enemy. It pounces. Slashing at you with its claws and biting with its savage maw.
The level is a 4
 a 12+ needed to dodge its attack

You hit automatically doing 4pts of dmg + another pt for might bonus. Total of a 5pts of dmg.

pools drain naturally

You rolled an 18 on the D20 so you get an added effect. Which type is up to you. You can either simply double your dmg,(make it 10 pts total), in this hit. Or you can choose and "effect". Meaning like stab it in the eye, knock it off the roof,twist the blade and torture it,ect. What type of effect is up to you.

Ok. No one notices a large, mostly damaged  (13' tall) sentry bot lumbering towards the battle from the far right.

"Violation. Violation. You are discharging weapons in a suburbia area. Violation of the Vorecarr act of,...zzzzzzz! *@#!" Its audio becomes pops and crackles as smoke issues from its joints. It readies its functional and non functional weapons.


However,Atharryn and Modelii DO notice that the larger vehicle has trouble slowing down and making turns. They see a solid looking pile of metal alloy on the edge of the battle zone. "If we can get it after us at full speed," he says, Maybe we can get it to wreck on that."

You do 10 pts of dmg and drive the blade almost straight  through the assassin. Black blood pours from the wound. It attacks trying to drive you to the edge of the roof. Its a lvl 4 defense roll (12+ needed)

You may attack again as well lvl 3 (9+ needed)
You may adjust with pts as desired.

D20(4) I used (1) from all pools excluding my AD Pool d10's rolled a total of (9) I believe..the dice were shifted and it crewed up the total...
