Willbrand lets Baelek take the lead, assuming that he knows more about this enemy, but he's following three meters behind and covering him, as well as watching his rear. Then he shrugs, and asks Baelek, "How are we going to take them alive? This beauty has no stun setting", he explains, indicating his rifle.

Baelek carries a retro looking ray gun rifle he pulled from the ship's small weapons locker behind the cockpit. It has exposed blue glowing power crystals and radium fuel cells. Little more than a frame for these the rifle looks very primitive in comparison to yours. At your question, Baelek turns and seems to understand what is being asked. He runs his finger over his throat in a universally understood gesture. No prisoners. He begins to make his way dodging around debris and zig-zagging low and steady. Perhaps it is the ship or what the vamp ship was carrying but even through your mask the thin air reeks like a carnal house. You spy burnt twitching masses of the ships flesh scattered about in painful death throws.

After having seen what these vamps do, both in the holos and in the flesh (pun intended), Willbrand brooked no argument to Baelek's indication. Better kill them all and investigate what's left.

With that in mind, he let Baelek take point, covering him and shooting down whatever disgusting malformed creature popped up. He would normally take point, but he didn't trust the hot-headed noble to do a proper job watching his six.

Gish gestures to what now was- at first glance, a dark ghost with a tangle of hair. The shadow retracted to expose hands and feet, "Alright. I'm probably not best choice to negotiate a better price but I can release her stasis if we need to." The necromancer stood aside from the gate and only made the proclamation after the girls and spilled bot came through.

With trained precision, Willbrand fires up a cautious shot while he's trying to ascertain the situation, but it's a bit of a chaos so his shot goes wide.

The necromancer shook his head and supplied, for what he thought might be Evelyn's benefit, "It seems to be a golem of sorts. They tend to not have ability to think beyond set orders unless a soul is bound to them. That is often unsavory work though.

I do not expect it will attack anything that doesn't violate the stated rules. I may be mistaken. This is a different realm than my home."

The bot begins to smoke at its seams and twitches. If you did not know better you would say it was having a nervous fit.

Willbrand's armor takes the hit, but it feels like he pulls something while trying to dodge. The soldier curses loudly, checking up on Baelek while looking around for cover and from where the attacks came from.

OOC: Ahaha. So I get 6 damage to Might. -3 for Heavy Armor, 3 damage. I spent 2 Might (3-1 for Edge 1) to try and resist it, so in the end it would have been better to just accept the 3 damage, instead I got 2 on top so 5 damage, almost like not wearing armor at all XD noted. So I'm at Might 8/13.

She turned her attention to the coffin. "Gonna fashion a guess. that's not a good sound since it sounds like she's waking up" she mused aloud.

O.C.C. (Yep! That is correct. Combat is pretty gritty in Cypher system. You can roll any of your luck or Hero dice to "soak" damage but it is a non-replenishing resource till the GM says. GM fiat.)


Bealek is not wearing as much armor. But he has armor of 1. Martain lite flight suit. So he takes 5 dmg.

You see at least four hostiles at a distance. They look worse for wear. Their skin scorched and their armor blackened. They are already damaged, but their weapons are dangerous sending bolts and globs of fast moving plasma streaking to you both.

Baelek is in pain having taken a direct hit. His chest armor smolders. He pulls a syringe from his hip pocket and jabs himself in the thigh. Either a pain killer or stimulant? He takes up a flat laying position and fires off a series of ray gun streams at the surviving vamps. Sweeping his weapon from left to right. The downside is that his weapon fires a continuous beam; the vamps see his position and return fire narrowly missing him.
