You follow Tessa through the throng of humanoids and less human looking beings. You see a vendor to your right as you pass by that seems to have and be selling something of interest. A book? A data crystal from an aeon past? You could stop but you might lose your female friend.

Passing through the gates after the guards and security have been satisfied, Otsgar turns to the band and says after much time spent silent on the desert."Come let us enter wicked Abbaddra, were then we may enter the even thrice wicked house of Otsgar!" This gets a cheer from the assembled men. Even Modellii smiles a bright grin.

Dacc-Dacc reaches out and tugs Tessa's sleeve.  "A moment, please, if we can, Tessa.  Some opportunities are worth an extra moment to consider."  Dacc-Dacc moves toward the vendor who caught their eye.

Zu shakes his head and takes a moment to study the bauble he'd found on the ground back at the ruin as he trudges along with his friends. What did it do? By what science would it work its spell? He longed to study it more so he could find out.
As soon as he got back to their base, he intended to find his room and avail himself of the chance to find out. As Modelli said, the girl would need rest and healing before she could answer any questions. That wasn't the sort of thing with which Zu could help. He might as well direct his attention to something more along his lines of expertise.

Tessa notices you have stopped and turns around raising an eyebrow in query but not saying anything.

The item looks like a data crystal and an old one at that the metal ports and connectors are rusted and dirt caked but the crystal is still gleaming with data motes of light dancing and flying inside the fist sized object

Dacc-Dacc inspects various items for sale, eventually including the data crystal, picking it up to examine it gently, unless the vendor objects.  They continue to peruse about a bit more pointing back to the crystal, as well as a few other odds and ends, mostly items of immediate practical value or things Dacc-Dacc would guess are interesting to look at, but not of too great value.  "How much for these?  Separately and together, please."

He's got his own tools in his room, but they're mostly for electronics. The mech bay's stuff just doesn't seem like the right kind of stuff for this kind of thing, either. Based on how this thing appears, he's thinking either he might look up Atharryn or go back to that shop that had the winged girl, see if one of those would help him examine it closer.
