thanks for the poke! Sorry about not posting.

Does the group wish to go along the path that Milander spotted, the lesser used path? or do you wish to continue along the main road?

Seralessa just nods. The hidden road may be an important clue.

Larmiun prepares his short bow and follows the unused road.

Seralessa spots the same road that Milander sees just before he points it out. The party decides to take this spot. As you travel along the path you notice that the amount of ground seems to shrink into a path barely wide enough for two people. Marsh seems to intrude heavily upon the area.

Milander will use his walking stick/staff to prove the ground in front of him, to make sure it isn't too soft as he presses forward. He looks for signs of people coming down this path recently as well.

Seralessa tries to move slowly and silently, paying attention to her surroundings.

Larmiun follows the group without questions.

After some time you see a large pond up ahead. The marshy ground makes it difficult to tell if anyone has passed before. You do spot something large in the pond near the shore closest to where you are walking. As you get closer and closer it becomes obvious that it is a large amphibian, it's quiet dead. Someone even took the time to slice it open.

Milander and Seralessa being druids estimate the giant frog has been dead less than 12 hours.

"Something killed this creature." Seralessa whispers and she tries to find some clues of who or what did this.

Ailishi doesn't know how to help them aside checking the surroundings for incoming dangerous creatures or signs of the battle.

There is a path that goes along the western edge of the pond and continues along the makeshift road.

The marsh terrain makes it very difficult for Seralessa to find any useful tracks.

Milander looks around, seemingly wandering aimlessly as he suspiciously eyes the ground where he walks. His ginger probing and muttering is only accented by Hesseth's flickering tounge as it probes the air around them.

"Keep close." Ailishi says to everyone, pointing 10 ft off the pond. "There is another giant frog there." He readies his Kusari Gama

"Bah, leave it alone. The other four hatchlings seem to have survived it... if barely. But they were well armed. Well, enough sight-seeing, we going back to that road or not?" the old man says, gesturing imperiously along the western end of the pond.

"I want to let it alone. Will it want to let us alone? That is the real question here."

Ailishi slowly walks along the road.

Seraless is going to nvestigate the area, but steps backward when she hears that there are giant frogs nearby.

"Yes... let's go. Now!"

Larmiun readies his bow and aims to where Ailishi points. He is not going to shoot unless the frog attacks first, he just wants to move with the group without being attacked.
