Re: OOC Thread

And since there is no attempt to put me out of a tactical disadvantage, I can only assume it was made on purpose.

I follow Ailishi, all I ask is that you delete my character and not make it an NPC.

Re: OOC Thread

You are at no tactical disadvantage, and you will be NPCd until such time as this encounter is completed.

You chose to attack other players even after efforts to rectify the situation in other areas.

Re: OOC Thread

Now that the PVP is ended, I was planning on following Milander, I'd love for someone to stay with the bandits we have captured while the rest of us chase down the remaining bandits and then we can all return to town. We can leave Elmo and Furnok with the bandits here and the rest of us can give chase?

I'm open to other suggestions too...

Re: OOC Thread

I know this is somewhat metagaming, but we could say Larmiun and Ailishi traveled with Elmo (and Furnok?) to take the bandits back to town. Doesn't really make a whole lot of sense IC, but that way they can be taken care of and the two NPCs won't be alone entirely. The rest of us can go with Old Man Grumpy and find more bandits to kill. I mean loot. I mean capture...

Definitely loot.

Re: OOC Thread

I would rather they waited to see if we had more information after we catch the "two" remaining bandits and look at their lair (and yes, loot it).

Then I think we should probably all return to town, share what we've learned and regroup (aka level up formally). I'm hoping that this bandit fight got everyone over the L2 hurdle and if we have a couple of more encounters I might make it to L3 by the time we get back to town :).

Re: OOC Thread

*nods* I think it fits Albrecht. Maybe Elmo took them both by the ear and dragged them along with the captured bandits. If the DM is sort of happy to "fast forward" (or diddly-doot us) to catching up to the remaining bandits, that would be grand.

We may even want to consider following along behind them quietly, to see where they go. Find out where their main headquarters are located, etc.

And making level 3 would be very sexy. I would not hate that.

But yes, looting, scalping, draining bandits of their info and XP before eventually making it back to town makes all kinds of sense (depending on how much the DM is interested in fucking up those plans :p)

Re: OOC Thread

I think the biggest help in getting that into motion would be for NPC Larmiun to apologize for his gout of fire and then we can issue watch orders to Elmo, Furnok, Larmiun and Ailishi and then hit the trail...

It all sounds good to me as well.  I would like to just hit level 2.

Re: OOC Thread

Seralessa has been removed as well. I have deleted his last posts, it is time to move on. I have also taken the steps to ban all three, because they just don't want to give it up and keep sending PMs.

Re: OOC Thread

I'm really sorry for all of this, again. I can't help but feel at least partially responsible for this shitstorm, and now that they're harassing you, it makes it even worse. Hopefully we've gotten rid of all the toxic players... Should we start looking for replacements? Or is it too early to tell?

Re: OOC Thread

I'll turn on the requesting new players thing but I'm going to hold off making an ad yet :).

It was a RP moment I believe, and they wanted to make the worst of it they could. I thought up to this point Ailishi and Larmiun had done well in RP etc, I'm not sure why they wanted to push this PVP situation in a situation that would not benefit their characters and would do more harm than good. To many people think that having evil characters has no consequences or taking evil actions have none, but if you get a reputation for evil you pretty soon would find it hard to function in society, folks would spread the word.

Seralessa has at times been more a problem, after all she ran off from the woods picking flowers to turn hers in first hoping Calmer wouldn't buy from the others. Her selfishness was always apparent.

My only conclusion can be that they actively wanted to destroy the game.

Re: OOC Thread

I do need to find a better mapping way.

I was using Autorealm and Sunday Night/Monday Morning worked through all the posts. However it's not as good as I would like, takes a long time.

I know some folks here do roll20 too and maybe I could use it for maps. I just need to figure out how to use those features. But I'm not sure if everyone can do that?

Re: OOC Thread

I've tried Roll20, but being on a mobile device almost exclusively, I've had very little success (like, none). I could try asking another DM what he uses, but if I had to guess, he just takes premade maps and edits them in Paint, lol.

Re: OOC Thread

Hat is what i used to do, but it takes so much time to do that.

I use mainly roll20 now and i agree with it being a pain if you are on mobile more often than not.

Re: OOC Thread

It's old school and can be a bit of a pain, but honestly the text based maps work great here:

 ABCDEFGHIJ
01
02
03
04
05
06
07
08
09
10
