The house was a one story ranch with green colored, slatted siding. The windows were old and partially blocked from the array of bushes which lined the front of the house. It looks like the grass hasn’t been cut very long or at least not in a long while. And because it was fall,There were leaves - Brown yellow and red -everywhere. The front yard was littered with them like no one had cleaned any of them up. It would have taken a long time as a chore to tidy up Ralphs yard. The house seemed far away, even though the kids were just waiting, At the sidewalk just a few yards from the driveway.

“That is Ralphs house?” Cory asked. The tone in Coreys voice indicated that he wasn’t exactly sure what to make of the house. The question was asked with an underlying premonition. There was an unspoken quality to the question, perhaps an underlying hint of fear.
