Corey, Shawn and Michael walked for a bit more down Rodeo Drive, the voices of trick or treaters fading behind them. They passed a road side that read "No Outlet" at it was clear they were coming to the last house on the right side.
It was a ranch style house, only one floor. A large TV antenna stuck up from alongside the Chimney that had worn brick. A large weeping willow tree covered the side yard, standing watch and looking over the house, giving the impression of having done so for ages. Passing under a Willow Tree, the boys entered a small backyard.
There was a single tree that towered above, and about 15 feet or so upward, a small tree house with a single light on inside, illuminating the interior constructed of wood. A pully system had been established so that anyone could raise or lower objects up to the house. On one side, there was also a balcony, though the wood seemed somewhat warped from use and age.
"The fort is just ok I guess." Corey said, appearing to stick by his earlier comments, even though for most kids having a treehouse like this might be considered a dream come true, especially for younger kids.
