That's fine. Take your time. Is it alright if I draft up some NPCs. A few of Kevaros' students?

Cain Reid: Cain is the most senior of Kevaros' students during the period of time that Tristan studied under him. Cain is a pugilist by nature and the only other sorcererous necromancer in the group of students. His magic focuses very heavily on death magic with his proficiency in soul magics being a close second and his command of undead just barely above that of a novice. Cain is physically strong and has bolstered his body and mind with powers gleaned from raiding crypts and ruins.

Alric Chandler: Aldric is the student most similar to Kevaros in temperament and magical focus. A generalist in magic he focuses equally on all tenants of necromancy although he does have a bias towards curses and the production of necromatic artifacts and alchemic formulas. Unlike Cain and Nina, Aldric spends a majority of his time within Kevaros' crypt library. He is also the only one that anticipated Kevaros' sudden desire to obtain lichdom and has an established fortress of his own in a nearby country.

Nina Whitfield: Nina is a vicious and cruel individual who studied under Kevaros with the hidden intention of killing him and obtaining his power for herself. Luckily or unluckily her objectives changed as she grew more powerful and now simply desires to use the power of death to obtain wealth and power during her theoretically immortal life. Her focus is on soul magics and command of undead. She is one of the few necromancers that has been able to replicate the powers of vamprism and has used their psychic abilities to bolster her own power and forces.

Quick clarification:

1. What did Kevaros do to my Wraith? If my character doesn't know then that's fine too.

2. Am I supposed to kill Nina or just drain power from her?

1. Is a mystery. ;)

2. If you want her soul you will need to kill her.

Sorry should likely have done this at the start, but it may be worth considering what spells you already have at your disposal. I will leave you to make them up and define them. Feel free to draw from any established spells from whatever universe you want to draw inspiration from.

You may also want to consider if you are devoted to yourself, or the god of undeath and necromancy known as Necrotix. Gods in this setting are more like the Greek gods in how petty and fallible they are. They can offer a lot of power and instant allies but the price is service to the ambitions of the god in question.

Kevros was devoted to himself but still paid respect to Necrotix.

I will follow my mentors example and pay homage to the god of death but not be an avid follower. I will stat out a list of spells and put it in character details.

I live in Houston and went to Dallas for the state fair. It was pretty fun. Very strange fried foods but what I had was delicious.
