Well, we are at least running into the logic of the situation. There's a good reason not to inform my character that you are trying to upload a virus, and you have no good means of silently communicating that point even if trust was given. I'm using the information I was given through the brief research that was done, and it indicated that this was the solution to the problem - which is running counter to your solution, which isn't going to increase trust.
Which is unfortunate, but I'm hoping the situation is tolerable to everyone... he said sheepishly, hoping the entire room does not turn on them. I've got to figure out a way to reduce that friction, though. That can become a problem in more ways then just in-game.
If this disabled the radar at the installation, then a bombardment is coming, which I'm to understand was the plan. If it did not disable their defenses, though, then this is being done The Obvious Way, which I don't like either.
Also, "blah blah thousand post limit" all that.
