Re: OOC 1
I was personally wagering on the players that are no longer with you, but their characters are. I've been on the side of the screen the GM is on. "Waste Not, Want Not."
Still, if that's been done and such detection methods cannot be defeated or tricked, then my theory is incorrect. That happens. I guess intensely, and really think I am right, but I have been wrong before, so to me it's cool if that happens.
I'm weird in that I believe a game lives or dies by the willingness of those in the game to question the world or game they are in. To have unanswered questions in the universe is totally fine, especially if they talk about those ideas in setting and it is pretty clear no one knows but they have vigorous debate about it.
Like, Winter Herald's going to have ideas, but they are going to be through the lens of a machine that is programmed to behave like a human. He doesn't know what the hell magic or psionics actually are, and he'd just view them as another kind of physics. He'd wonder why it was that an artificial mind would be incapable of using this power normally - that would be a legitimate mystery to him.
