I'll be assembling a pre-assault report before we go in. Boring, dry, but a compilation and confirmation of what we know and what we do not.

We know how we are getting in, what our support is, our supply sources, time limits, supervisory control, and demands made (time limit and demands are technically "none"). Location objective, area/structure knowledge, and how Holly and the inhabitants of the island/vessel got there are incomplete (although the last is mostly complete). Knowledge regarding our opposition is extremely spotty at best - knowledge of danger levels, experience, and command structure if any - and oddly the secretive Vitaly and Doctor Phage might be the only two we have anything approaching complete data on.

Everyone else at the island is going to be a surprise to us, barring any revelations of data.

Will probably ask this IC but the suits JUSTICAR developed for the team (I believe both Runa and Bellissima are wearing them) are they rated form NBC environments?

If that is the case, with a Dreger rebreather (they are worn across the chest BTW) Runa and Bellissima could be protected from the plants.

But anyone who steps foot on the island would need to be decontaminated. For operating in an NBC Enviromint, the outer layer of clothing would be completely discarded and destroyed. Probably not something JUSTICAR would want to see done as the suits are expensive.

Unfortunately no. I've not made any fully NBC suits for the team costumes as the they are stylized as the players original costumes and those are not fully covering and so not complete enough to fully seal.

Bellissima is wearing a standard Sentinel's upgraded costume with a little concealed armor and hand's free integration of the team electronics and communications, while Runa's armor has less electronics but is an actual stylized archaic half-plate suit made of modern composites to be as durable as metal but far lighter.

I am trying to wait a bit before posting Jacob abd Lili's findings, because I figure it would have taken an hour or more with set-up to discover it.

Not quite the original post I had in mind at all, but a good point was made to me that I have suspected for some time. That, or Smohk is just really laying it on thick, and I'm not sure why.

Hikari has access to military tech and electronics that normal US citizens CANNOT get access to and he is not even a US citizen!  Hikari holds dual German and Japanese citizenship and is only here in the US on a College Exchange student VISA and a industrialist business commerse VISA for Mitsuhama Telecommunications. Well possessing a physical body has some benefits, and the psychological impact of losing it when barley out of one's teens...

Barring GM fiat or very good luck involving criticals, back attacks, or death attacks, it is actually surprisingly hard to nova someone down in Palladium system with a single player in a single attack phase. The bulk of my experience is with RIFTS, mind you, and noting the difficulty of using the Master Assassin to actually assassinate anyone wearing MDC armor. Your talents are limited to SDC or low MDC targets - you aren't taking out most of the really nasty things in that game with a single attack phase.

The MonsterHunters section of the Mercenary splatbook was one of the few fluff stories that accurately depicts the exact amount of firepower needed to 100%-0% one of those Neuron Beasts. That, for those not in the know, is a nasty psychic creature from near the top of the pre-Atlantis monster shelf. It's... quite a substantial amount of firepower, involving the very mechanically broken missile barrages.

The Neuron Beast does not appear in the Atlantis book.. unless I missed it some how ... but the Metztla RCC is fierce and Totally OP Too!

The Neuron Beast is out of Sourcebook One.. and yeah its a SoB... Symeril would really want to avoid fighting one of those!  Psi powers AND magic spells are just insanely OP!
