Justicar acts immediately firing the Stun/Flash grenade into the south room between T & D... then moves into the south room  taking cover around the doorway from the North room making way for Chimpman Z to pounce on the and opening fire with his Wrist Stun Blasters one shot at "T" and one at "D"!

As he moves through the doorway he can see into the north room with his 360^degree External visuals... he turns his other shoulder-mounted 5.56 LMG weapon limb to aim its Underbarel Grenade Launcher to fire a KO Gas Grenade into the room "W" is trying to flee into...

The grenade launchers cycled and barked, Cha-CHAKK ~ CHOOF! CHOOF!

Followed by the twin high-pitched pulsed whine of stun blasters, TweeeAk~! TweeeAk~!

"Karl, command Drone-Delta to flamethrower the entire exterior surface of the isle and begin jamming cellphone communications."

'Acknowledged Hikari.'

Winter Herald considered his options, and decided a risk was in order when the flashbang was fired. He suspected most of the team was here right now, although if they were adhering to his plan, that meant he was the only wild card. Whether information had been fed to Vitaly and the Refusniks or not, he was the only variable.

With three people behind him and none of them possessing his speed, this meant someone was going to be covering the airlock and the two rooms behind them.

He silently moved across the room, quickly and quietly slipping past all three of them and Justicar to move to the alcove south of Hatch A1 and the adjacent room. He wasn't ready for a fight yet, and he wasn't ready to tip his presence in this battle if he could avoid it. But if someone came out of this room to fight Justicar, or there was sound in this room, he would know of it.

The worst that would happen is he would mess up, eyes would go south, and away from the rest of the team coming from the north. Likely part of Justicar's plan in any event.

Senor Garcia takes out one of his knifes and attempt to stab through the lining of the shroud covering the upper hull of the submarine. If successful, he will begin to saw downward with the serrated edge of the knife in order to make on opening big enough for him to squeeze through.

The Maharaja decides if he can knock out the Russian speaking person they may be able to avoid fighting another mentalist, which could be bad as their own mentalist seemed very tired. Rushing to the Provider, he throws a quick hook to knock out the villain.

[Secret to Senor Garcia: Señor Garcia successfully cuts through the shroud and is tossed onto the deck of the submarine by the inrush of water. The deluge lasts mere seconds, and when he looks back at the opening he should have made, Señor Garcia sees the shroud pulling itself together and healing his cuts. As he watches, the water that rushed in sluices off the sides of the submarine and is absorbed by the shroud from where it puddles. ]JUSTICAR fires a set of grenades into the south room, and as the grenades reach the floor the floor opens in several places. Although one of the two grenades falls through, the flash-bang detonates as soon as it lands. Unseen by most, as the flash-bang even caught the attention of those it didn't catch, Winter Herald zips through to a new vantage point. The Maharaja rushes to Provider and attempts to knock him out. Perhaps the distraction of the flash-bang got him as well, but he misses. The Whisperer, a young woman who, judging by her attire, just came in from a night out clubbing with her girlfriends, dashes up to Provider, and while shouting, "c'mon you guys! Stop it!" does the splits and puts her palms to the floor. Violent vibrations begin to fly down the floor to smack The Maharaja and JUSTICAR. The Maharaja instinctively runs up the western wall, touching one foot on the ceiling before landing where he started and thereby avoids the shockwave.[Secret to JUSTICAR: Through Karl, Hikari sees what's occurring outside as drone delta begins its attack run. As soon as the flames strike the island-vessel a woman with a form composed of utter darkness speckled with pinpricks of light zooms up from the island and screams, "THAT'S MINE" and spews a bolt of nothing, black as deepest space, from her hand into the drone. OOC: 58 points of damage past any standard armor (critical rolled), the drone is probably damaged. Hikari will need to dodge the shockwave or be shaken for 18 points of damage (through the armor, The Whisperer rolled natural 18 with +2 to strike)]

Shaking off the shock of getting slammed onto the deck of the Señor Garcia gets up, thinking to himself, as he sheaths his knife: I’m too old for this shit.  As he takes note of his surroundings he clears the action on his rifle, then inserts a magazine and chambers a round.


If there are no threats, he does the same with his pistol, and removes his dive fins and clipping them to his web harness belt behind his left buttock.


...and if there are threats, Señor Garcia does his best to kill said threats before they kill him.

Bellissima as quietly as possible quick walks up to the corner and looks into the room, seeing Vitaly and a woman facing off against Maharaja, another person to the left by a door and possibly someone far down in another room to the south.  She only has the strength to go offensive or defensive, not both.  Taking into account her experience with the T-Rex, take things out hard and fast and that ends fights and reduces chances for people to get hurt.

She reached out with her TK, grabbing at Provider as she felt blood dripping out of her nose as she was pushing herself to nearly her limit as she slammed Provider up into the ceiling and then down at Maharaja's feet on the ground. "Surrender, this is the Sentinels of Center City Police!" She called out, trying to give them time to surrender, even if she doubted that they were going to listen.  As a police force, they were required to give people a chance to surrender.  Of course she was displaying force to maybe help them decide to surrender, like police kicking the door in and pointing a gun at a criminals face while demanding they surrender.

So... how did Whisperer target and attack Justicar as he is physically in the south room behind the cover of the Wall bulkhead when he ACTED on 28 Waay before her on 22?

You do not get to act out of turn... you can only react to an action if you have higher initiative and an action to act with ~ Unless you are changing that action order basic allowing us to react to things even when its not our initiative?

Is this a case of obtuse questioning?  'Well you didn't ask what the floors and ceiling were made of!' Cause my question was to make sure nothing in the hallways would catch fire... floor and ceiling included.  Your answer led me to beleive the ceiling and floor were composed of the same ceramic solid material.  What your describing NOW seems to suggest the floor is fleshy and malleable which would likely Burn?

Just asking for clarification cause it would not have changed how Justicar fired his grenades.  There is NO way he would have guessed the floor or ceiling even if fleshy could react to AND identify an object like a grenade to be a threat. Which to this structure should not be; neither of the grenades should be able to harm this structure.  Also Justicar has NO intention of firing explosive ordinance with his teammates so near the danger space!

3. Are you indicating that Drone-Delta did not get to ignite the island surface with its flamethrowers?  Cause you don't get to forestall an action done before you get to act when Its NOT your initiative TO act.  You do not have a listed initiative for Lady Armageddon.  I have no issue with her reacting to the Drones attack but Even if Lady Armageddon was watching and waiting its STILL an initiative issue.  Justicar cannot act out of turn  to forestall actions unless he has the higher initiative and an Action left to use.

4. Were Trishula and Dr Phage disabled by his Stun/Flash grenade and or his Stun Gun {Blaster} shots?


Not to be A HEEL about this but you've done this before negating high initiative actions by allow npcs to act out of turn.

Karl reacts to the sudden unexpected attack on Drone-Delta, by flying the drone into the water as if it were disabled by the attack and allows it to sink.  The drone is damaged but not 'quite' destroyed yet; it is actually still operational just playing 'possum'.  Karl directed the under water Drone-Lambda to retrieve Drone-Delta and both Drone-Lambda and Drone-Zeta move to hug the underside of the Bio-ship isle taking hidden full cover against further attacks.

Karl informed Hikari, 'Justicar? There is a flying hostile woman outside the Bio-ship... here are the visuals of her.'

Hikari will note her appearance ... and try to identify her in the supervillain database.. seemingly an incorporeal flying woman firing black energy bolts powerful enough to one-shot his armored drones that his sensors cannot identify the energy type... seems something he should regard as a real threat!

Dr. Phage stumbles around the corner into the galley. Provider twists around to alleviate the impact damage with the ceiling. Trishula decides to obscure the whole thing by generating a cloud of smoke.
[Secret to Senor Garcia:There appears to be no security, and no personnel, anywhere near the submarine. As Señor Garcia heads for the 'dock', such as it is, he hears the sounds of grenades and other, odder, possible munitions in the interior of the ship. Just as he steps off the submarine, it slips a few feet backwards then slowly returns to its original position.]

    I read the paired weapons to indicate both were fired at the same time (first action) and I had the knockout gas grenade swallowed by the biological portion of the ship because I wanted the ship to respond and show that it wasn't a passive feature.

    The ceiling, walls, and floor are like an enamel that is biological in origin. Yes, the giant amoeba that is this ship can modify its shape in numerous ways. Both JUSTICAR and Señor Garcia have discovered this is going to affect the situation.

    Trishula and Dr Phage are definitely affected by the flash-bang. Once we get to second actions we'll see how it goes.


Whisperer reacted to The Maharaja attacking Provider by using a Shockwave attack. It ripples along surfaces in a six foot wide area:
Heroes Unlimited Revised Second Edition, page 295:
Shock Waves: The superbeing is able to create shock waves to that ripple through the earth to crack Sidewalks, walls, buildings, etc. Damage is inflicted to everything within the path of the shock wave.
Range: 120 feet (36.6 m) +10 feet (3 m) per level of experience.
The width of the shock wave is six feet ( 1 .8 m). The character can control the range to a few feet or to the maximum distance.
Duration: Instant.
Attacks Per Melee: Each wave counts as two melee attacks.
Damage: 2D6 per each level of experience.
Bonus: +2 to strike.

It wasn't really directed at JUSTICAR, but having seen the robot slip around the corner Whisperer didn't want to take a chance so extended the attack into the next room.

Runa was impressed with Bellissima's determination. For the mind mage to use her power despite the obvious toll it was taking on her body, showed an iron resolve to do what needed to be done in the defense of others. Part of her wanted to rush to her side and heal her. That was Lilibeth's influence. The other part of her, that wanted to wade into the battle and smite their foes. That side won, with thinking much like Bellissima, though Runa had no way of knowing.

The tall blond charged into the room, heading straight for the one called Whisperer, her arms out stretched.

Wow.  A guy gets busy for a couple of days,and everything goes to shit in a bucket.
At the warning spoken in Russian, CMZ moves to  where he can be spotted by all of the occupants.

And the shit goes down.  Drek, he mutters as he moves in to go after Whisperer.  He cartwheels at her, kicking and punching as he gets close to her.

Runa charges at The Whisperer and The Whisperer jinks around Runa as she approaches. Hopping from foot to foot, The Whisperer parries Chimp Man Z's kick.
The Moppet decides Bellissima would be a good target and darts toward her, then appears to hit some sort of anomaly as she dwindles away appearing just like a skydiver leaving an airplane.

Despite hearing the sounds of combat occurring, Señor Garcia heads for the submarine's aft escape trunk, and sees if he can get inside. The team would need a method of escape and going onto the surface of the island/ship may not be the best course of action.

PASS, only skill I figured I can roll since the skill (for a Navy SEAL) should cover how to enter/exit an escape trunk to rescue submariners.

An Adjustment...

Justicar spreads his mechanical wings TAKES FLIGHT on his fan-thrusters following Dr. Phage since he has waaay more then enough movement to follow and keeps him in sight to shoot him with the Stun Gun {Blaster} he can STILL aim at and shoot Trishula who is still reeling in the room.  Justicar is making sure to not touch ANY surface of the Bio-ship!  The darkness field spell is ignored as he shuts off his exterior visual displays relying on the Virtual map his systems made of the room and his Radar, Audio Tracking and Proximity Sensors that do not rely on sight.  He WILL NOT let Dr. Phage get out of sight!!!

Winter Herald had determined Holly Cook to be in one of two locations - forecastle or aft. Aft was the traditional location of a captain's cabin, so if she was receiving luxury treatment, she would be in the "back." That meant south.

He assumed the Cloud of Smoke was Justicar's, and the sound of Justicar's movements audible if imprecise in the conflicting noises, with Justicar currently being outnumbered two to one. Calculations stated if Justicar didn't find those odds acceptable, they would not have engaged, or they would use more force and fall back. No threat there, and if Holly is there, Justicar will find her. If she is not, then she is north, where the rest of the current team is.

The time for subtlety was over. He decided to question someone. He activated his mini-radar, moved south and decided to sweep the legs out from under Trishula.

"You are not my priority. Tell me where Holly is."

Runa had hoped that with their combined attack, the Whisperer would have been overwhelmed. Such was not to be. She was not discouraged though and continued to attack the enemy. This time she threw her right fist, hoping to connect with the Whisperer's gut.

JUSTICAR easily catches up with Dr. Phage, who is stumbling along mumbling about "pathetic, mentally deficient brutes."
Winter Herald knocks Trishula's legs from beneath him, and growls demands. Trishula responds, barking back "how the #!@*&% would I know".
The Whisperer deflects The Maharaja's attempt at knocking her down, notes that she's surrounded, and begins to appear blurry though not actually moving.

Doctor Lemarr!  It was I who figured out how to track the oscillating quantum-entangled superstring branes of the dimensional thresholds, they disturb the natural quark-particle flow... that can be detected and tracked.  So tell me... who or what device is allowing the Refusnik's to pierce dimensional barriers? Provider - Vitaly is a  pure thug/lowlife of the streets and does not strike me as the Genius Physicist it would take to make such a device... even if his ex-girlfriend was a target for dimensional abduction!"

Bellissima frowned as she realized that one of their opponents was missing from sight.  They could have gone into the room to the east or invisible.  The news that the ship itself could attack them and the floors couldn't be trusted prompted Bellissima to keep on the move as she crossed the room to the east to the corner where she could look into the room on the east as she was tossing Vitaly around like a rag doll as another blood vessel burst and blood leaked out of her other nostril as she used more of her energy to see anything invisible.  [Private to group LESPradio2: "We got an opponent missing!"]

While she was moving, she looked to see if there was anything in the room that looked like it weighed close to 300 lbs.

As Bellissima slams The Provider into the ceiling, he again uses his arms and legs to cushion the blow. Afterwards, he shouts at Bellissima, "how can surrender when you bounce me all over place? What you do next? Kneel on my neck?"
JUSTICAR passes through a sort of Common Room with tables grown up from the floor and similar chairs. Dr. Phage is just inside the galley rubbing his eyes and trying to see his phone. He responds to JUSTICAR, "that crazy thing? We tossed it overboard after it changed that woman Provider wanted. That weak little fool cried over her. What was he going to offer her, anyway. Domestic life aboard a giant unicellular automata?"
Trishula is on the floor, within a cloud of smoke he created himself. "I've really not got time for this," he says before mumbling something odd and vanishing.
Runa's fist does pass right through The Whisperer.
Bellissima's sixth sense alerts her to an attacker behind her, and The Moppet reappears. This time, the villain is just over two feet tall with the wings of a beetle as she throws a roundhouse kick at Bellissima. Bellissima's self-defense training kicks in and she parrys the small foot, which feels unnaturally light to her.

OOC: The Provider rolled with the impact, even so he's down a fair amount of SDC.
The Moppet's strike roll was a 23, Bellissima's automatic parry roll was 29.

[Secret to not JUSTICAR; not Winter Herald; not Senor Garcia:Another shadowy female steps THROUGH the wall in the south, apparently to avoid the smoke cloud.][Secret to Senor Garcia: The submarine suddenly slips again, as if the sheath around it lost its grip. This time it slides several yards towards a watery grave before the sheath tightens and pulls it back into position.]

Karl tasks Drone-Lambda to detach from the Bio-ship underside to move off 100'ft from the ship and move to periscope depth to rise only  it's scope from the water to get a visual on the surface of the Bio-ship...looking specifically for Holly Cook and the approaching MAC Zodiac watercraft inflatables... also the progress of the surface napalm fires.
