At that moment, the boy is heard knocking a strange pattern at the door. Matías and Gabriela nod to each other. Matías says, "they are here. After seeing the anjana, we will trust you. You're very lucky to have come when you did."

I am called ChimpMan Z, CMZ introduces himself.  And these are Paragon and Drifter.  We are with the Law Enforcement Super Powered division of the Center City Police Department.  We're here in an ongoing case to investigate and arrest the terrorist known as FORCE.

Paragon said with a bit of snark, "Yes because Journalists always carry firearms."

San Sebastien Island?  He scratches his bald pate.  Honestly, so much has happened since then, I don't really remember.  I did have to take The Brady Bunch to the zoo to be with the rest of their troop before coking here.
He shrugs.  I lost the hair when I got trapped in this gooey coccoon with a dirty bomb that was meant to destroy this strange biomwchanical island with an artificial intelligence.  Took the whole blast.  Five times as many roentgens than Chernobyl, and more heat than the Sun.  Hair fell out, I became twice as strong, and twice as heavy.  My muscles became rock hard, instead of feeling like normal muscles any more.
He shrugs again.  Shót me if you must, but be warned.  Bullets don't just drop when they hit many any more, they actually ricochet.  A lot.
His voice, however, has not changed.  And realization suddenly dawns on him, and he points his hand at the Colonel.  Drek!  Flagg!  Colonel Flagg!  I should've remembered you sooner.

after listening to Colonel Flagg, Drifter feels lost in what he is supposed to be doing?  Some sort of Revolution seems to be brewing and that generally means killing. Nope he is not interested in that.

"If mortal conflict is eminent Colonel Flagg I am out.  I am not a Pacifist by any means and will fight. However I choose to use non lethal means and deportation or incarceration to some place like Middle-earth or The Many Coloured Land.  I also sell a line of Tasers like the one I have.

We are what you could call the advance force, CMZ advises.  We have a few moore coming who will be here with a day or two, I think.  We can help, but our primary mission is the capture of FORCE.

Drifter manages to open a grapefruit-sized hole in reality itself. A voice familiar to some listening (Winter Herald) says, "...only succeeds if a foreign power offers military aid to the rebellious side. In this case, we are the foreign power. And here we are again, as we were when I first joined, determining the fate of nations without regard for the wishes of those nations. This time it is more clear what the correct action is, and I hope this is more..."

Another voice (Captain Justice) replies, "I doubt I would be much help with reprogramming androids. I can use computers and repair computers. I'm more of a hardware guy anyway. But androids and a bit too miniaturized for me to work with."

Leaping right into the conversation, Drifter says, "Has anyone ever heard of Autobots? They are a real self-aware sentient species who exist.
