So until General Flag or Colonol Smokh tell us otherwise that is ALL I'm doing."

Runa was pleased to see that Psi-Bird agreed with her that the automatons needed to be destroyed before they could be used for further evil acts. Initially she hadn't like the redheaded woman but now, "She has a fire in her that matches the flame of her hair," she thought to herself. Out loud she says, "Good! We shall crush them together!"

"I should enter first through the front door. When their attention is on me, you come in from behind and burn them with you fire. Caught between the might of my goddess and the fury of your flames, they will fall before us like so much chaff."

Stephany was just about to ignore Drifter, when a fire lit in her pretty green eyes and she rounded on him, "Narnia Eh? Well you tell that damned Lion that Good people don't give up on the innocent! But she dismisses him from her attention and unshoulders her camera bag leaving it behind as she slips into the jungle cover at the edge of the clearing moving around to the back of the Barracks as quietly as she can...

And comically runs across a snake and screams out in shock as she runs head long into a large boa and seems to hit evary twig and tree limb she can on her way to the position!!!

She is totally mortified at the UTTER ineptness of her attempts... 'Gah!  Scooby-fuckin' Doo and Mystery Incorporated could do better than this!  FUCK!!'

She plunges her way out of the jungle in the right position... rather loudly... and pulling vines and leave and vermin from her clothing and hair tries to gather some dignity totally embarrased... grousing outloud, "...this sounded so much better in my head!  Fuck it!"

Her red hair wildly tousled about her head and her emerald eyes ablaze she gives up any attempt at stealth with her utter bungling of it and stalks toward the Rear of the Barracks furious but summoning her inner strength to call up her Psi-Sword and Psi-Shield...

The effect being she clenches her left fist and a shearing sound of a blade being drawn rings in the air about her and suddenly a glowing spectral semi-translucent 5'ft Claymore of silver-white energy manifests in her hand pulsing and softly humming...

But also a similar glowing spectral semi-translucent Crusader's Large Heater Shield of silver-white energy manifests floating near her wrist ... shifting position as need never touching her hand or arm... but shifting rapidly to intercept any incoming attack...

"Guess now I'M being the distraction.. I'll never hear the end of this..."

Seeing Psi-Bird stumble and undoubtedly alert the robots to her presence, Runa adapts to the unexpected change in the plan literally on the run. She sprints forward, charging one of the androids posted at the oppoaite door that Psi-Bird is attacking. When she is close enough, she leaps into the air and attempts to deliver a kick to the robot's chest. When she lands, she lashes out with two vicious punches, her fists glowing with energy.

Not sure how many actions I should post. What Runa does is also dependant on if the front door is open, closed but not locked or closed and locked.

The general idea is to charge at one of the androids, jump Kick, punch punch and trust that she can parry whatever they might send her way because that's all five of her actions this round.

As Drifter stalks off, Lady Jane flits after him and calls out, Wait! You need to tell me to go home before I can leave. Those are the rules, you know.
One of the mercenaries sighs and follows the fairy following Drifter.
Another of the mercenaries follows Psi-Bird, managing to be quiet where she failed. At least, until the point where Psi-Bird manifests the psi-sword and psi-shield. At that point, the mercenary does make a noise as his tone exhibits some irritation when he mouths the single word, "figures."
Runa sprints forward, leaps into a robot feet first, and slams said robot back into the wall. The robot bounces off the wall and stumbles forward into an uppercut that knocks the robot into the ceiling of the covered porch. As the robot comes down, Runa's other fist drives the robots head into the concrete floor. The robot doesn't move after that.
The three remaining robots begin to make mechanical noises, as if an internal engine was revving up. Through the speaker that substitutes for a mouth on one of the remaining robots, a human voice is heard complaining, "... told them the startup time would leave these things vulnerable, set them to kill and take off the safeties."

Smiling at Lady Jane he reaches out a hand to take hers before he and she... and if he is fast enough the following Merc do a two step shuffle back to Tri C Headquarters.

Psi-Bird had been so focused on her own failures that she failed to realize one of the mercs had followed her... HE at least was stealthy enough she did not hear him following.  Glancing over her shoulder at him she shrugged with a sheepish expression and silently mounted , 'Sorry...'

Coming around the edge of the of the barracks Psi-Bird noted Runa already had one of her FORCE Blank bots down so she angled away toward the two coming to life at the other Barracks entrance just in time to hear the operators remarks...

Not looking to see if Drifter is still there Stephany remarks, "HA! See Drifter...? They are not autonomous AI Beings at all.. they are Remote operated Blanks... just drones!"

She decided to GO BIG and gamble at potentially disabling both quickly...

Without closing to melee range Psi-Bird gestured with her hand her fiery red hair begins to stir to an unfelt unheard phantom breeze and her pretty emerald eyes blaze as with Super Telekinesis {Range 500ft} ~ Psi-Bird unleashes the power of her will and Grabs the closer FORCE Android Blank to her gripping it with her mind and slams its head {called shot TN12} with her TK Might against the other FORCE Android Blank's head guarding the door...  REPEATEDLY!



Her green eyes blaze with intensity and in fact softly glow as she unleashes her Super Telekinetic fury smashing the FORCE Blank in her TK Grip ...Repeatedly against the other blank aiming to bash their heads together like some angry invisible giant throwing a tantrum each impact is a loud crunching metallic clunk-crunch like the sound of multiple smashing car collisions... {Called Shots TN12}

The partially crumpled and badly dented of the automaton laying at her feet, clearly no longer a threat to anyone, Runa turns her attention to the remaining mechanical warrior. "Feel the wrath of my Goddess, soulless golem!" she shouts at it. She had heard these things puppet masters. There was no longer any element of surprise and so no need to remain silent. She could give into the battle lust that was so much a part of her.

The remote control guard droids lay in ruin at the empty barracks. Now that they aren't focused on robots, it's terribly obvious that the barracks is empty. The two mercenaries that have been following Runa and Psi-Bird are standing and talking together with occasional wide-eyed glances at the two heroines.

Psi-Bird saunters over to Runa regarding the two mercenaries reactions to the destruction both Runa ~ the divinely empowered Powerhouse priestess of the Goddess of lust and war and Stephany ~ the mental weapon of mass destruction still holding her spectral but ominously humming psi-sword 'Ornate Claymore' in hand while her equally spectral psi-shield follows hovering near her right shoulder and smirks calling out, "...but I'm also a really skilled dancer and can cook up a really tasty 'breakfast' omelette too boys, honest!", then under her breath, _{'...so yeah please forget I can twist people's heads off with just my thoughts.'}

Once at Runa's side she remarks sarcastically, "...THIS is why I get no repeat dates."

Looking around she grimaces, "So... why build a barracks for ..like no soldiers?  Let's sweep these buildings 'D', then 'B' to see if there is anything here that needs investigating or destroying... then have a go at the elevator shack 'C' that goes down."

Runa wasn't even breathing hard. The warrior priestess stood over the shattered, crumpled remains of the two automatons she had destroyed, a smile of grim satisfaction on her face. "Well done Psi-Bird!" she says, as she turns to face her companion. She strides over and claps the other woman on her shoulder, "You had a rough start but in the end, you won and the soulless ones are gone."

She points at the tracks when Psi-Bird mentions searching the other buildings. "We should warn the others, more of these might be on their way to them."

With her hand still on the other woman's shoulder, she speaks in another language [Language unknown: "Me wheyinred amele ties ev yin tio mi Hothro"]

She then moves to the two men and, laying one hand on each of their shoulders, repeats her words exactly.

Both times the palms of her hands had glowed with a soft, white light. "There! Now as we move, it shall be with a swiftness not even a cheetah would respect!"

Runa's blessing immediately energizes the two soldiers and they'rre raring to go after whatever was in the barracks. They are, perhaps, trying to show off for the ladies. In the process, one of them mentions that they're some of the highest paid mercenaries in the world.

Psi-Bird grins for Runa at her encouragement.  Then regards the tracks she had totally failed to notice before... pondering them briefly.

"So you think we arrived too late to stop the soldiers here from deploying?  That's unfortunate.... "

She regards the elevator building and scowls... her heart was SET on entering and seeking out Franklin Emerson... and confronting him for his crimes and his treatment of her mother.  The sad shameful truth coming to her realization.... She WANTED RED-HOT VENGEANCE!  She just wanted to smash FORCE's robotic body into pieces so small she could pass him for a broken LEGO set!!

But... that was not what heroes were supposed to be about... she was supposed to be better then that, but in her heart she realized she was not.  She hurt and wanted to hurt back.

Stephany lowers her gaze emotions warring across features ~ anger, hurt, determination but ultimately settling on sadness and strangely shame as she says, "...yeah I suppose we should find out where those soldiers went... _{really wanted to run down Force personally though...}"

Then she felt... the divine power flow through her like a supercharge at the priestess blessed touch...

Stephany's emerald eyes widened in surprise as she turned to gaze into Runa's eyes, "...oh .. MY!  Your the genuine article ~ Blessings and all!  Not sure if I'm worthy of a divine blessing... but Thanks... its amazing to feel truly .. the power of a goddess... inside me.  Nice to feel ... not alone inside."

Runa felt annoyance at the implication that Psi'Bird had thought her a false priestess but then, after hours of silence, Lilibeth's voice spoke to her. It was soft, as if coming from a great distance. She heard and understood the words all the same, this modern world was not like the one she had known. Many here did not believe in any gods at all, let alone hers, who had fallen into obscurity.

Runa let her annoyance pass through her, and nodded her head at Psi-Bird instead. "Was there any doubt?" she says, her tone jesting. She gestures at the tracks, "Come, let us follow these tracks and see what if we find more metal puppets to smash! Ishtar's appetite for battle has not yet been satiated."

Stephany shakes her head, and smiles sadly her gaze still lowered, "...its not that, Not Doubt!  It's just ... I never had a mother or father who cared for me or anyone that ever stepped up to that role.  I was not 'special' to someone else ... for Just me.. and not my powers.  So I learned to look out for myself by Myself for MYSelf ~ ALONE!  No god ever came to my aide to settle my fears or simply to tell me I'm loved.  But here you are Now... and I can feel the power of your goddess inside me... and know that it is Real!  Maybe I'm just feeling sorry for myself, but I can't help asking ~ Why NOW?  Why do I find the divine ...something I really needed when I was a lonely afraid child... but NOW I'm a bitter, and scarred adult and don't need it ~ Why NOW do I find the divine, when I needed it So Much, So LONG Ago?"

She shrugs, "It's not an accusation against your goddess Runa... I guess I was just never important enough, worthy enough, or innocent enough for any other god to bother with.", she shifts to a mocking paternal tone,'Sorry kid sucks to be you'... I guess?"

"Now Vengeance is what I believe in.. keeps me warm company all those cold lonely nights.  Let's go find us something to Smash the fuck out of...!"

Runa releases Psi-Bird's shoulder, putting her hands in her hips. "As much as it would please me to listen to your story and then share the love and glory of Ishtar with you, that is for the future. What matters is right now and right now, we are called to battle!"

She looks at the two soldiers, "Are you trackers? If so, then find the way to our enemy so that we may meet them! Meet them and crush them!"

One of the mercs says, "trail's obvious. Looks like they had them double-timing a straight line to something. I think that would be the direction to the cannon thing."
It's the first time the soldier has said a word, and his reticence becomes clear because the man spoke in a sort of sing-song way which sounded suspiciously like Herbert Khaury^*.

"OH FUck THAT!  Look Goddess Gal... can you get us to Captain Justice FASTER than Mach 1?!?  Like I can Ghost Machine the bomb and tell him EXACTLY how to disarm it!!!  Or I can Astral Project ~ Mach 1 it to Captain Justice and then Ghost Machine the bomb and use Telepathy to tell him Exactly how to disarm the bomb!"

Hearing the conversation Psi-Bird speaks up...

Then she looks over at Runa... "Gonna need you to hold and protect my body when I go astral... plus... this way... no one else is at risk... my Astral form is not actually part of this dimension.. so worse comes worse and the nuke goes off.. at least no one else is at risk not even me... But I WILL NOT FAIL! Promise ~ I'm going to save CJ...and the team!"

Runa nodded her head at the flame haired woman. "Go, may the blessings of the goddess be with you," she says simply. There are times for inspiring speeches and times for quick, decisive action. This is such a time and so Runa limited herself to a single sentence.

Runa looks to the two soldiers with her. "Come, stand there and there," she says pointing at two different points. "I will stand here, let none pass until our comrade's return," she says, selecting a spot that makes the third point of a triangle around Psi-Bird.

She moves to the center of the triangle of guardians and lies down...

Then gets a VERY SERIOUS look in her pretty green eyes, "...now a warning. Please do not move my body... if I cannot find my body before this ability fades... the least bad that could happen is... I just die ~ Lost in astral space to fade as my lifeforce weakens and eventually disperses.  The worse is that Astral Space is Not empty... there are spirits and ... entities in the astral void.  One.. or more of them could possess the empty spirit shell of flesh that my body would be.  And there are ..well A LOT of Very Unpleasant astral spirits out there! THAT would be VERY BAD...as you might not realize its not me before... before its too late.  So here is a safeword ~ 'ROSE'... if I return and cannot give you that safeword... well... you KNOW what to do. I'd rather be dead than allow my body possibly even my powers to be defiled and used by some malicious evil astral spirit to hurt people.  I know this is a risk... always is...but I'm NOT letting Arnold die!  The world needs heroes like him... not weapons of mass mental destruction like me! See you soon."

...And just like that she is in repose the breeze lightly stirring her flame red hair... she breathes lightly almost a sigh but her cheeks and skin pallor are pale as if some ephemeral vitality of her life had departed...

Psi-Bird's eyes pop open as she is in the midst of a dangerous forced trance she hears Drifter... and triggers her headset...

Psi-Bird waited as the moments stretched and Drifter made no reply or indications he would be any help at all...

So Stephany returned to her repose and .. to her surprize discovered her Meditative Trance was not needed as she'd already Astral Projected earlier that day... and her power had not faded as yet..she still had time to act!

And Act, she did, falling into her trance with ease she separated her mind easily from her body... letting her Astral Projection fly free...

Having already visited the Electrostatic Cannon installation in astral space she knew the way... Perfect Memory coming in use again...

She soared through astral space at the speed of will and caught up to Captain Justice after just 119 seconds. Though the Captain had an almost five minute head start her form flew like a breeze through the Grey void of the mindscape as the speed of sound comparatively mach 1 in normal space...
