Chinilaya - Security Barracks

Psi-Bird leads the way, "This way... coming at the barracks from this path will give us the most tree cover... I know the way.. been there before on my astral scouting... and perfect memory.. I never forget anything."

She lets her camera hang around her neck... regarding Lt Smokh and his three troopers.

Casually she says, "I  can get us there but likely you Lieutenant will want to tell me where to start the fires for the best tactical effect?  I'm no soldier... but I can erect a wall of fire that no one will want to walk through if needed.  Just tell me where... after you assess the battlefield situation."

Runa waited to learn where the wall of fire would be placed, so she would know where to be when the enemy fled their barracks.

"Intel we gathered says there aren't any Chinilayan regulars here aside from the half dozen or so in El Presidente's personal guard. Mercenaries don't get attached to temporary barracks, so, if you set fire to the barracks, they'll just abandon it."
"On the other hand, because they're mercenaries you don't know how they'd react so you can't tell what to expect."

In reply to MercNumberOne (msg # 4):

Stephany pondered the Merc's intel, "So... do you think if they knew their Bosses were about to be VERY MUCH unable to pay them...would they stick around at all?"

"I could Astral Project Again and find out EXACTLY how many are here and their EXACT positions and with Telepathy relay that intel in 'real-time' if that would help us tactically to out position and neutralize them as threats?"

"My intel suggests the men in these barracks aren't part of Chinilaya's forces, and aren't mercenaries. Their comms are almost exclusively directed to what should be a civilian channel, but they're using military grade encryption. What we could decipher suggests that those men are providing security for and keeping an eye on el Presidente. They keep responding to inquiries about his behavior."
The lieutenant pulls out a small pistol, saying, "Automatic pistol with tranquilizer rounds. I'll try to hit them as soon as they appear, it could take them out and if it doesn't would slow them down. I can start firing as soon as you've signaled you're in position to rush the barracks. Between the two assaults we should be able to subdue them easily."

In reply to Lt. Smohk (msg # 6):

Psi-Bird nods, "Ok... sounds like a plan.  Those are barracks, they should not be any weapons stored there... too much temptation to use them on each other or arm personal conflicts.  I'll sneak up, and slip under the barracks on the right {I'm assuming the barracks are built not flush to the ground but with a raised floor 'small crawlspace' as in a jungle area that could be bad with ground vermin} set it on fire then move to the 'C' building a watch the elevator and Building 'B' which might be the armory."

"Do you have any tear, smoke or frag grenades to lend me?  I can teleport them to strategic positions to cause distraction or break up the formation of unexpected armed squads that might arrive when the ruckus starts."

Flitting back from wherever they had gone, Jane the fairy is almost out of breath and appears upset.
"Those aren't humans in there! They're more of those mechanical men!"

In reply to Anjana Jane (msg # 8):

Psi-Bird regards the faerie and her eyes go wide and nods, "Thank You lady Jane... that changes Everything!"

Turning to the team, "No 'mere' barracks fire is going to spook them or significantly damage them.. we need heavy ordinance to pound this position and smash these metal mother-fuckers to scrap!"

Then something occurs to her... "Hey do you think you could get to Chimpman Z, and Captain Justice... Lady Jane?  If they were to instead of smash but turn that damned Electrostatic Cannon on these barracks... we could put an end to these metal hunter-killers real quick-like!"

Runa frowned, "So not people but more of those automatons. Taking down the metal senator was not hard but a barracks filled? Perhaps using that cannon on it would be the best way but it might not get all of them. We should stay here to destroy any of those automatons that survive."

"some of the nicest beings I have ever met are autonomous beings called Autobots but then they Are at war with some not so nice entities called Deceptercons.  Yes just like in the Manga novels.

So if you intend to kill sentients of any medium, be it earth, air, fire, water, vegetable or flesh!  Just count me out!
I would not even hurt a caraway seed... if I could help it."

"This is bad. If they've got a barracks full of robots FORCE may be more of a force... uh, sorry ...than we suspected. If these aren't like the remote-operated robots they had on the island they'll protected from EMP, apparently their bodies act like a form of faraday cage to prevent such interference. I've a theory that any holes or cracks in their facade will allow an EMP to work, but I'm not sure of a safe way to test it."

Chinilaya - Security Barracks

In reply to Runa (msg # 10):

Psi-Bird nods in agreement, "Yeah we will need to stay for clean-up we can't let any significant number of them escape!"

In reply to Drifter (msg # 11):

Stephany regards Drifter and his sentiments and touches his should in support, "I understand Drifter... its a terrible thing to kill anything with a mind and soul... I also do not want any part of indiscriminate Violence either!  These machine/androids however will kill anyone us or innocent civilians with No remorse when ordered too."

"As Spymaster explained it to me the Electrostatic Cannon will disable their tech like it was meant to do to some guy named Justicar... I don't think that's the same as murder.  But do you blame the US soldiers that went to war to stop the Germans who were murdering innocent Jews by the millions?  They were Not going to stop either unless lethal force was used to 'dissuade' them from their crimes of Genocide!  Sometimes... distasteful in the extreme though it may be  ~ killing is necessary to stop even greater loss of life from happening by just standing by and letting it happen!"

"I understand if you still feel uncomfortable helping in the fight but could you at least help US contact Chimpman Z and Captain Justice with one of your communication portals so we can coordinate?"

In reply to Lt. Smohk (msg # 12):

Psi-Bird shrugs, "...I don't think we have any other option but to at least try.  The Androids might have some EMP shielding but the Electrostatic Cannon may be our best option to perhaps just disorient them temporarily so they are easier to disable?  Your men just don't have the kind of firepower, or even just Runa and I the AoE destruction to unleash enmasse to smash through an entire barracks of walking humanoid-tanks!"

Psi-Bird cocks her head, "What? Only four... oh... well in that case let's go in and thump them and be done with it!  I thought you were implying that the barracks were full of Androids... but yeah I did wonder 'Why' Androids would need Barracks in the first place?  They don't "sleep" they recharge...which they could likely do standing up!"
