What time some did the roll over happen on? I'm trying to do the ap calculation but what I have left depends on if I spent what I did after or before the rollover occurred

The game started on the rollover. You have to wait a week before then. It has numerous reasons for that including telling me to bump the post for new players.

Would like to request a thread for The House of Melting Wax, or 'the speakeasy of the gods' As hoping this will be a bit of a social center!

For the thread description you can cut and paste it directly from below the bolded bit.

Yep i can see all undeleted messages. Heck it's actually pretty hard to differentiate for me. I didn't even realize you deleted the message.

Oh quick question. How much influence do we have on the world that doesn't require us to use our AP. Can we move already created creatures and do we dictate mostly on what they are doing?

I believe the creatures in question should be mostly moved by those that have created them. In a manner that the creatures have been described as. So a servile race isn't going to attack another by another god's action without any ap being used. And you can even use your creatures as another mean to talk to another deity as long as it isn't for the diet self interest but more in a that particular creature's self interest.

I hope that makes sense.

I now have a bunch of game mechanic questions about creature interaction. So hypothetically:

Let's say a player-deity creates a race that are characterized as brutal warmongers and their goal is described as the extermination of every species that isn't themselves.

1) As the species were described as warmongers would it cost ap for them to go to war against another player-deity's creations? Would this have any in-game mechanical effects without the use of a curse/blessing or would it be something to just add to the narrative of the world?

2) Could the warmongers ever succeed in exterminating a species, even with a player-deity giving blessings/curses? (I'm assuming no, because that seems like it'd be a jerk move)
If species can be exterminated can that same species be resurrected? If yes what action would a player-deity use to resurrect a species?

Additionally:

3) Is it possible for one species to drive another species into other areas of the world? For example as of writing there appear to be two main places where species are living, the swamp and the forest, if say the Lacerta and the Shifters got into a war with one another over something could one species claim dominion over the swamp and kick the others into the forest (using RCR to resolve which species won)? What actions would a player-deity have to have the species do to achieve this? Or would a war like this have to be fought by blessing/cursing the species themselves and eventually resolved through RCR?

4) If hypothetically a species moves from the area it is created in, e.g. if the Lacerta or Shifters decide to leave the swamp of their own accord and move into the forest which is already inhabited would that be something that does or does not require ap?

1)They would go to war with nearby species of their own accord. Until a guy decides to bless/curse them peaceful.
2)They could if a player told the creator of the warmongers to exterminate a species.
3) Rcr would be in effect and the person who lost the battle would be able to decide what they did.
4)if the person who controls them a good reason no. Though technically it is possible to use a bless/curse

I would like a separate thread called OOC WORLD-BUILDING in which we can put details about the First World and/or First Universe/First Multiverse that isn't immediately relevant to game play, but which would help with background etc.

If we just stick such info in the regular OOC thread, it'll get cluttered with the two types of information.

I find that I may be a bit confused about what a panoply is.

Noric: Freedom (liberation) and Plant (growth).

Is the stuff in the parentheses panoplies? Or is it just that a domain = one word, followed by another word in parentheses?

If the latter, then how would one notate a god with two domains and a panoply?

Is there any way to get a panoply other than choosing to get one instead of a domain?

What exactly is the difference between a domain and a panoply?

The stuff inside the domain is a subsection of a domain. To give people a focus and tell me more about the God and differentiate God's. Monopolies give a static bonus without advancing a God.

Okay. So at this time, none of us have any panoplies yet.

The bonuses given by panoplies are interesting, and certain ones are darn tempting, but collecting domains is the method by which we "level up," so I think I'll stick to that for the foreseeable future...

Painter, I know it's way too soon to decide about anyone so far, but what happens if a god's player stops playing? Does anything special happen to their domains? Are their creations up for grabs to experiment on/conquer/steal?

So I think I misread how the rollover works and gave myself the wrong amount of ap back at the start of the week. So quick question about rollover:

If I understand the mechanics correctly every week those at Demigod gain 4 AP and the max they can have is 16.

So because I spent a bunch the previous week (down to one) it rolled over to five then I spent two to make the shifters nomads and 1 to make them blessed to cast elemental magic easily I now should have two ap remaining. Is that correct?
