For out-of-character chatter...

So, Great One: did you get an abundance of apps? I look forward to spreading my demonosity (is that a word) across the other PCs. Sharing is caring, yes?

I only have one other interested person so far... I'm still keen to run the game--my longest-lasting game on RPOL was an MCWOD game and I really enjoyed it--but it would definitely be better if we had at least a couple more players.

I am most keen to play. Perhaps start the two of us (if you accept the other) and bring more in?

That's what I am planning to do. I just received a third application, which I need to look at still.

When I've run MCWOD here before, I have started most characters out solo but then worked on tying their stories together over time without forcing things. Whether the PCs come together or not, I intend to have their actions affect each other's stories.

Demons definitely lend themselves well to solo play, but we'll see how things go. I don't have any plot ideas set in stone at this point. You'll have a lot of opportunity to shape the story.

MCWOD doesn't have a set method for generating your ability scores. You can use the standard array [15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8] or the 27-point-buy method from D&D / d20 Modern.

Sorry for the silence. My youngest had her birthday this weekend, and then I wasn't feeling well. I'll bump the advert to see if we can get anyone else, then I'll work on getting everyone started.

Note that at least for a while, we'll be playing solo, so take things that makes sense to you, you'll always have time later to take group-focused stuff. Akane is as far from combat-oriented as a Mage can be...

It's only been a couple of days for myself, you should check with the GM if it's not a case of both of you waiting for the other.

Maybe the GM doesn't like my style and simply wants me gone? I posted in my individual thread. He didn't seem to like the direction I took. And now I'm several weeks with no interaction in this game. If he doesn't like what I'm doing then perhaps a little direction is in order?

Hey, everyone. I'm going to let this game go. We've only got three players, in disparate stories, and I'm having a hard time getting things moving. Also, I'm expecting my schedule to get a lot busier in a couple of weeks, so I'm looking to cut back on games here for a little while.

Having said that, I have enjoyed writing with all of you, so I want to extend an invitation for any of you to join one of my more successful games, which I have listed below. Well bollocks. Things on the COVID front have eased up for me (I told work to piss off and have someone else be the bloody team lead) and I'm recovering from the injuries I sustained in a wreck that totaled my car a month ago so I was FINALLY!!! going to jump into this game.

My timing, as usual, is impeccable. Le'sigh and screw COVID right in the face with a bar stool. And chair. And table.
