We have a full cast/party now! The method for rolling will be 4d6 drop lowest, if the average of your modifiers is 0 or less then you may reroll.

Work together to create a balanced party! This will also be the time to establish ties to each other. If you were born in or around the great city and are human you must choose either: Kortezian or Azindrealian, as those are the major human cultures in the city.

quote:
Just over 50,000 citizens reside in The Great City. About half the population are native Azindraleans, descendants of the early tribes that first settled the region thousands of years ago. Kortezians make up the second largest ethnic group and account for another 30% of the population. Conquerors from the empire overseas, the Kortzians come from a dozen clans of often drastically different appearance, culture and attitude. The most dominant, and most prevalent of the Kortezians come from the eastern edge of their continent and include the Atregans, the Belanos and the Magorthus. The third largest group consists of half-breeds of various races and ethnicities. Halfbreeds include azzywogs (those of mixed Azindralean and Kortezian descent), half elves, half-orcs, the goblin-blooded gurs, and half-giants. They make up another 18% of the population. Finally, the remainder of the remaining 2% of the population consists of elves, dwarves, gnomes, halflings, and other races such as centaurs, gnolls, goblinoids, ogres, orcs, trolls and others brought in.

Above is a description of the population of the Great City which may help with creating your character as far as race and background go. Your characters should have some tie to the city that makes them want to stay, whether you were born in the city or not doesn't matter but you must be residents of the city in some form or the other.

Also note: your custom tags should have your AC / HP / Base saving throws, I will have a tag set for your race / class so don't worry about that.

I was thinking of going of going two weapon fighting, probably dual short swords. I'll also be pretty good at ranged combat, and after 4th level I'll have limited magic. What about all of you?

Ugh I was trying to be clever and roll all at once intending to copy and past the roll bar at the top of the screen but when I did my copy...it didn't take and having exited out of it I can't see the individual dies any longer...

DM? Can you? Or should I roll individually.

Don't want to assume.

As for build. Believe it or not I was also considering going two weapon with hand axes (using sacred weapon to boost damage to 1d8)...thoughts?

Failing that likely warhammer and shield

This shows in the dice roller for me -

11:46, Today: Kilain Gravendak rolled 14,9,17,14,12,13 using 4d6,4d6,4d6,4d6,4d6,4d6.  Stats drop lowest from each.

Yeah just doesn't show the lowest. It showed each die in the roll bar at the top...at that time.

Yeah all I have access to to see is what was posted above; shouldn't be an issue if you clicked the drop lowest option!

Re: ooc
Once everyone has their characters rolled up I'll post the starter; while a good majority of the story up until like Act IV has a railroaded-ish story, after Act IV the rest becomes entirely sandbox.

That being said, you'll have a lot of freedom to move about and explore the city while you're not actively questing (and if the quest doesn't have a time-limit you can even ignore the main quest for awhile) which should create some good rp opportunities. In fact a lot of the story requires you to explore the city so prepare for that and multiple threads being opened.
