this will be a place to go through each of the PC's characters and flesh out some of their back stories.

Arne Ingolfson
"Arne... how could you," Ygren asked, as he looked down at his old friend. Kneeling before the council, Arne bowed his head, knowing he did not commit the deed he was being accused of, but couldn't find a way to clear his name. "My wife, my Siv is dead and your axe was buried in her back! Face me your bastard!" he yells in a furious fervor.

Jarl Nordskov raises his hand to calm the man down. "Arne, you hear the accusation against you and by your words you claim you are innocent. The facts against you though are strong. Will you battle Ygren to reclaim your honor or will you face exile and live with the guilt of this crime?"

Arne looks up at the Jarl, seeing the gleaming eyes of a few of his clan elders behind him, and squares his shoulders. "My Jarl, I am an innocent man. However, I will not fight my best friend, the man who is as my brother. I will leave and I will find a way to prove my innocence," he says in a quiet, but strong voice."

Then looking at Ygren, he says,"My brother, I will bring your wife's murderer to justi..."

Ygren's foot comes towards your face and then *whack*

You awake with a start, having knocked over your pots and making a crash. Sitting up, you rub your face and begin to break down the camp.

Thinking back on what had happened almost a month ago now, you start to make your way south again, almost to Neverwinter.

Azazel
*Thwack* Your teacher looks up as you stretch after closing the tome in front of you.  "That's it. I have finished the last book here, but it's not enough master. I need to learn more!" Azazel exclaims.

Your teacher looks over to you with a grandfatherly smile and a nod. "I knew thanks day would come. I am sending you off to Neverwinter. It is a cold, harsh place, but you can learn much there. The circle there recently sent out a need for aid. I am too old for the travels now, but as my apprentice they will certainly see you and give you the test. Should you pass, you will have access to a wealth of knowledge."

You haven't looked back since that last conversation. Having passed Waterdeep some days ago, you crest a hill and find yourself looking down at Neverwinter.

Canad Odog
"Papa, you're home!" the child cries out as your master's enemy walks through the door. You watch the smile appear on the mans face and the joy in his sons laugh as he is lifted off the floor. Looking on, you know you have failed. Your masters will soon know that you missed the timing for your mark. What to do? To go back to them would mean death. This was your file test and you have now failed. The only option was to run, but what of the child? Someone would be sent to complete the job.

Reaching up to your vest, you pull off the patch that shows your master's house. tying it quickly to an arrow, you take aim from you spot four rooftops away and let the arrow fly. The arrow crashes through the window and embeds itself into the doorframe next to the man. Then you are off.

The trip had been long and taxing on your nerves. Every port you stopped at was a new place for your masters to find your and execute their vengeance. Being on the waters was time for the pirates of the Sea of Fallen Stars to find your ship.

Stepping off finally at Proskur, a tiny little port up the rive off the eastern end of the Sea of Fallen Stars. Gathering your gear, you again wonder if the man took the meaning of your warning and left the city. If nothing else, you hoped he moved his son to safety.

Now, you were in the process of keeping yourself alive. Walking into the town, you wonder where best to head. Bulder's Gate or Watersdeep would be large enough cities, but maybe not far enough. Neverwinter made more sense. From here though, that would be a decent trip.

OOC: you are about 1000 miles from Neverwinter. there are a number of towns, large and small between here and there. this game is going to be more about roleplaying than rollplaying. Focus more on the story than the numbers or rolling. Now that you are a few hundred miles away from Thay, how do you intend to get up to Neverwinter?

Myosotis 'Myo' Alpestris
"Mom, stop it. It is my life and I will do with it what I want!"

That was five days ago. Five days of travel north, north-east with the twins Beartilde, Nathanial & Delilah. Idly, you wonder what your mother is thinking with you being gone for this long, but you push the thought from your mind. This trip has been to big and to long in coming to dwell on her. After living your entire life in a small town, your wanderlust finally got the better of you.

"Hurry up Myo!," Nat hollers over his shoulder from a little ways ahead. He's a pompus ass, but he and his sister mean well, so you feel. Their stories of the help they have given to others helped you to pick up your life and leave with only what you could carry.

You are just passing the Boaresker Bridge, on your way to Daggerford, and from there Waterdeep. 'Lilah and Nat are talking about finding a spot to camp soon.
This will be your first night actually camping outside!

The woods are full around you, with just the sounds of nature around you. There have been a fair number of people passing by along this trade route, though now the road is empty except for your trio.

OOC: what do you do next? talk to the others? look around the woods? try to help find a camping spot? ask where you are headed? something else?
