ST,

Would a Kindred know if they are around others by instincts?

Not in Masquerade.  I think you're thinking Requiem.  Auspex helps however.

Is anybody here adept at crafting character sheets?

I'm great at "ideas", but TERRIBLE at the rules, and I can't access my 2nd edition books for a bit.

I know it might cripple me as a player, but would somebody be willing to PM me and go back and forth about my character and help me craft my sheet so I can get started playing?

I'd be happy to help! :) I have roughly 4 years of Vampire experience, so I'm used to making sheets.

If you have a good perception there is a chance you ca recognize a vampire.  Also the lower their humanity the easier it is.

I will warn everyone now, this is a social game.  Don;t expect there to be a lot of combat.  I'm not saying it won;t happen, but that is not the intent of the campaign.  Also, don;t get into a fight you don;t think you can win.  People play for keeps in New Orleans.

Re: OCC

Are we able to get a thread rolling, so a few of us can at least start off some early rp, or is this going to be primarily gm driven and we need to wait for a primary gm run thread?

In reply to Katherine Dashkovari (msg # 41):

Everyone who has a complete character background and character sheet should already have a thread started.  If you have both and don;t see an intro thread, send me a PM.  As for public stuff, Once you intro is complete, there is an even that you will be introduced to.  From there you can do whatever you like.  You don;t have to wait for me, after you have been invited to the main event and have access tog group 1 threads. (I do want to be sure though everyone has had some sort of introduction.  It like the mini solo sessions from 1st Ed.)

I'm looking forward in meeting all the other Kindreds in New Orleans.  Hope we all can get along without getting the attention of the Prince.

I’ll second that.  Let’s not draw the Prince’s attention.

I just did a small edit to my post to clear up with whom my character was getting mixed up with.
