Places

A small collection of places in New Orleans.  If you have others that you want to be a part of your story, submit them to me, I will add to this list as we play.

Kindred Sites
The Lamp Light – Located on Bourbon Street the Lamp Light is a strip club with a small twist.  Run by a Toreador, the club is open to both kindred and kine until the wee morning hours.  Certain nights however (usually Sun nights), it is closed to its mortal customers, and entertainment of a different sort is served to titillate the Kindred patrons.
The show, which consists of a mortal and kindred is a normal performance by the mortal, but always ends in the kiss.  There mortal performers are referred to as vampire whores as they willingly submit to the kiss for a chance to experience the euphoria that accompanies it.

New Orleans Jazz – This club on Royal Street is also owned by Toreador and stays open from sunset to dawn.  The City’s more popular jazz bands are frequent performers.  The Club is world famous among the toreador.

The Delta Night – The Delta Night only exists as a club for a few weeks every year.  Originally an abandoned riverboat, Lawrence The Ventrue refurbished it into a luxurious nightclub staffed by his most loyal servants.  Entry is invitation only and guests are treated to the finest music, performances and gambling to be found anywhere in the region.  The Delta Night is located in a secluded Bayou but is only active during the Carnival, Lawrence’s Mortal birthday, and other important times.

Dark Night Magic Shop
This magical supply shop it actually a front for the Primogen's Gathering spot.  The main floor is a modern magic supplies shop with props for professional magicians.  They even custom build props.  The back room is a real time old fashioned magical ingredients shop with its own private entrance.  Here you can purchase New Knives, Witch Hazel, etc.  A staircase leads to the basement, which contains a large meeting room capable of holding the entire kindred population, and a smaller conference room with a large table and seat for each of the primogen.  The place is decorated with artifacts and items which remind visitors of the prominence of house Tremere by displaying it's tools.

Black Rose Ink - This tattoo studio is owned by a toreador who is once of the region's greatest artists.  Nick's skill at using the body as a canvas is legendary among the city, and sporting one of his works to a party is like wearing a designer dress.  Especially with a Kindred's unique ability to remove a tattoo if needed.

Elysium Sites – New Orleans history is in its architecture and the city’s elders try to protect that heritage.  Most of the Elysium are buildings of cultural importance.
Jackson Square; including the buildings of St Louis Cathedral; and the Presbytere and the Cabildo; Storyville Jazz Hall on Decatur Street; the Old New Orleans Court building off Royal street; the French Market; Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop (A bar) on bourbon street; Preservation Hall on St Peter Street; The Jax Brewery; Le Petit Theatre; the Old Mint (Now a museum) in the French Quarter.
Outside the French Quarter, Elysium can be found at the New Orleans center adjacent to the Superdome, the Theatre of the performing arts, the world trade center, faire grounds race track
