"Not far," Bane replies, "It's on a platform one level below us. Assuming it hasn't been confiscated already."

The cloaked figure's free hand clenches dangerously.

"Which I'm sure it hasn't," Bane adds hastily, "Utapauan authorities are not the most effective force in the galaxy."

"Then let's go," the cloaked figure says impatiently.

"Now, now, let's not be impatient."

"Perhaps you would like to try carrying him for a bit?" the figure jerks his head at Sora's form, slung across his back.

"A fair point," Bane acknowledges, "All right, let's-"

Before he can finish speaking, a squad of four of the red armored warriors hurry into view, heading right for the restaurant. Behind them scurry a dozen of the stumpy creatures.

"Now what, genius?" the cloaked figure growls to Bane.

"Back into the facility?" Bane suggests, backing towards the wall.

"I'm starting to think I should take my chances on my own."

"Garbage chute!" Bane suddenly suggests, pointing to the nearby chute triumphantly.

"Garbage chute?" the figure repeats, skeptically.

"Garbage chute," Bane repeats, firmly.

At that moment the four warriors and their stumpy companions enter the restaurant, glance about.

The proprietor points to Bane and the figure with a squeak.

"Garbage chute," the figure agrees.

The warriors are already charging toward the injured pair, weapons raised. Their leader calls to them in Basic.

"Halt! Drop your weapons!"

The figure ignores the captain, shrugging off Sora's body into the garbage chute. He then takes a breath and leaps in after him.

"I said halt!" calls the captain to Bane.

"Try 'no'," Bane salutes him before leaping in after the cloaked figure.

The captain reaches the chute a moment later, wrinkling his nose as he peers in after them. He then slams his fist against the side.

"Get a squad down there," he instructs one of the warriors, "If they survived I want them in custody before the day is out."

The warrior salutes and hurries from the restaurant.

The proprietor hurries over and tosses a plate of a foul smelling liquid into the garbage chute after the party with a malicious squeak.

Meanwhile, far below, the cloaked figure lands atop a wet and squishy pile of decomposing food, slides down the side at a rapid pace, then knocks his head against something hard and solid. The world goes black around him and he remembers no more.
