The party make their way through the corridors of the Bulq Estate to the platform upon which Malar's Fist is parked. Bane keeps his blaster closely trained on Aurra as they walk, with Ak-Yev leading the way through the corridors.

"We will need someone to stay and look after things here while we are away," Sora says as they walk, glancing at Ak-Yev.

"I hardly think that will be necessary," Bane replies, "Your uncle is dead, and I don't think any of these guards are going to be in a hurry to cross us again anytime soon. Besides, it won't be long until the long list of enemies we seem to be quickly amassing will come looking for us here, and I don't think we want anyone to be around to meet them."

Sora seems to see the logic in Bane's logic, and does not argue further, pausing only to issue a series of orders in Sriluurian to one of his lieutenants before following the others out onto the platform on which the freighter is docked.

"We're flying all the way to Onderon in that?" Aurra snorts as they approach the vessel.

She grunts as she receives a rather forceful shove from Bane.

"Secure her in the cargo hold," he instructs Zirak as they ascend the boarding ramp, "And keep an eye on her, will you?"

"Sora should be the one who keeps an eye on her, since he's the one prone to randomly husking whoever is closest to him," Zirak objects.

"We do want our aurodium... But fine," Bane allows, waving a dismissive hand at Sora as he makes his way off to the cockpit.

Malar's Fist lifts off shortly after, swiftly ascending through the cloudy atmosphere and into the expanse of space above. Its hyperdrive glows brightly blue, then in a flash it is gone.

The majority of the journey is uneventful. Sora spends his time meditating on the cargo hold floor, a few meters from Aurra, who is cuffed to the frame of the ladder leading to the engine room below. Eeth seats himself beside him and the two spend most of the journey debating the tenants of the Jedi code and the living Force. Ak-Yev stands guard outside the crew's quarters inside which Zirak meditates, while R5 trundles about the ship, monitoring systems and trundling into the cockpit to complain to Bane every hour or two.

It is moments before they arrive at Onderon that things start to go amiss.

"...but I still do not see how murdering innocents can be the will of the Force?" Sora shakes his head as he sits cross-legged on the floor of the cargo hold.

"Those who support Veers and his Stratocracy are not innocent," Eeth says patiently, "And this is war. We are not murderers."

Aurra rolls her eyes as Sora opens his mouth to respond.

"Will you two wermo's just stop-" she breaks off as she begins to splutter and choke. A moment later she slumps sideways, unconscious.

"Wha-" Sora says, rising as he too begins to choke before collapsing.

"Nerve toxin!" Eeth warns Sora, a moment too late as he closing his eyes in meditation and ceases breathing. His eyes flash open a few seconds later as he glances sharply about, igniting his lightsaber.

In the crew quarters Zirak and Ak-Yev simultaneously begin choke and collapse in unison.

Protected by his helmet from the nerve toxin, Bane sits in the cockpit, quite oblivious to what is happening throughout the rest of the ship. He flicks a switch and 'Malar's Fist' exits hyperspace. The planet Onderon fills the viewport before them, orbited by its jungle moon of Duxn.

"Beepity-boop-beep-bloop-beep?" R5 beeps from beside him.

"I don't care how much they're worth on the black market," Bane says darkly, "We are not hunting Drexl. We've got enough crazy things trying to kill us already, thank you."

R5 gives a sullen beep, before trundling begrudgingly out of the cockpit.

Bane continues to direct the freighter towards the approaching planet, but stiffens after a moment, tilting his head to one side as he senses the consciousness of his companions slipping away. Instinctively he reaches for his rifle which rests against the console beside him, but he pauses as he feels the dull clunk of the muzzle of a blaster rifle being pressed against the back of his helmet.

"Don't move Bane."

"Can I help you?" Bane replies sourly. He nevertheless pauses obediently mid-reach to his rifle.

"You can," comes the even reply, "You can turn this ship around and take it back to the Arkanian Legacy immediately."

There is a beeping as several buttons are pressed on the nav computer behind him.

"The coordinates are set."

Bane relaxes as he half turns to survey his captor, a man in a battered suit of Mandalorian armor.

"Boba Fett," he groans with unconcealed resentment, "Didn't Xizor trust me to get the job done?"

"It has been nearly a month, Bane. You can't blame Xizor for getting impatient."

Fett does not move his blaster away from Bane.

"I have everything under control," Bane replies defensively, "This situation is a bit more complicated than-."

"And I believe Xizor also explicitly stated that you were to be subtle and not draw attention to yourself," Boba continues, his tone accusatory.

"I've been subtle," Bane complains.

"Collapsing a city, killing your way through the underworld of Denon, wiping out a Vossier gang headquarters and assassinating the ruling council of Sriluur..." Boba lists pointedly, "Very subtle."

"Now, to be fair, Sora's uncle was behind the assassination of the Sriluur council-" Bane begins.

"Just turn the ship around," Boba cuts him off, "You can save your excuses for Xizor."

"I think not," comes Eeth's voice coldly from the doorway behind them.

Boba glances around, muttering a curse as Bane takes advantage of the distraction to dart for his rifle. Boba's stun blast is a moment late, missing Bane's head by centimetres before striking the ship's control board which hisses and crackles as electricity pulses through it and the ship lurches violently to the left.

It is Bane's turn to curse as he is sent soaring past his rifle to crash against the side of the cockpit before landing heavily on the floor.

Eeth swiftly catches hold of the doorway beside him to brace himself as Boba catches hold of the pilot's seat.

Meanwhile, in the crew's quarters, Zirak has suddenly felt a rush of dark energy pulsing through him and gasps awake. He clambers up, only to be thrown violently against the wall behind him, but with a snarl he soldiers on, thumping his shoulder on the doorway of the crew's quarters as he leaps over Ak-Yev's unconscious form and heads in the direction of the skirmish in the cockpit.

OOC: Zirak Derasir rolled 21 using 1d20+9. Reflex.

Back in the cockpit, Eeth has leapt forward, sweeping his lightsaber around in two swift strokes as Boba narrowly ducks and tumbles out the way of each stroke.

OOC: Eeth Koth dealt 51 points of vitality damage to Boba Fett.

Darting around the Jedi, Boba unleashes a series of blasts as he backs down the corridor, all of which Eeth manages to send crashing into the walls about them.

OOC: Boba Fett dealt 52 points of vitality damage to Eeth Koth.

"Do try not to kill him if you can help it," Bane calls after the pair as he clambers after his rifle, "He's kind of a friend."

At which of the pair this statement is directed is unclear.

Boba glances sharply around as with a series of furious beeps R5 speeds up the corridor behind him, buzz saw slashing wildly. The bounty hunter curses as he avoids the spinning blade by millimetres.

OOC: R5-D3 dealt 2 points of vitality damage to Boba Fett.

Eeth continues to press the attack, slashing at the distracted bounty hunter, who still manages to avoid his blows with deft agility.

OOC: Eeth Koth dealt 24 points of vitality damage to Boba Fett.

Abandoning his efforts to chase his rifle, Bane manages to pull himself into the pilots' seat and grabs hold of the controls. He curses as the ship fails to respond, continuing its uncontrolled spiral toward the planet.

"Good job, Fett," he mutters, slamming a fist on the control board, "Really good job..."

Boba sends another series of blasts at Eeth as he attempts to pick his way around the R5, narrowly avoiding another well aimed slash.

Eeth pushes past R5 as he hurries after Boba, almost cutting himself on the astromech's saw as he passes, distracting him enough that his strokes do not come close to striking the bounty hunter. He gives a grunt of pain as a blast from Boba strikes him in the shoulder.

Eeth Koth rolled 35 using 1d20+16. Fortitude.

It is at that moment that Zirak appears at the corridor entrance, several meters behind Boba, igniting his lightsaber as he advances menacingly down the corridor. The effect is somewhat lessened by another lurch of the ship which sends him crashing heavily into the corridor wall with a grunt. Recovering himself, Zirak snarls and charges at Boba, swinging his lightsaber in a savage, two-handed cleave that only narrowly misses the bounty hunter's neck.

OOC: Zirak Derasir dealt 39 points of vitality damage to Boba Fett.

Busy avoiding Zirak, Boba is unable to dodge a slash from Eeth which cleaves his jetpack in two and cuts through his armor and deep into his shoulder. The jetpack combusts with an explosion that sends him and Zirak down the length of the corridor, while Eeth and R5 are hurled all the way to the cockpit. His armor almost completely obliterated and his back a mess of burned and bloodied flesh, Fett lies sprawled facedown on the corridor floor and does not rise.

Pulling himself to his feet, Zirak stalks over and gives Boba's body a nudge with his boot.

"Please tell me you didn't kill him?" Bane calls down the corridor, "And I'm not just saying that because I want to do it myself... And what the blazes did you do to my droid?!"

Eeth has also pulled himself up, limping down the corridor to bend down beside Boba with a wince.

"Alive," he asserts briskly after a few moments, "Though barely. We need to find the source of the toxin and stop it," he adds practically to Zirak.

Zirak seems less interested in toxins or Boba's fate than he is by Bane's 'my droid' comment.

"Your 'friend' here had better not have damaged my droid," he growls as he rises to stalk down the corridor to the cockpit, "I assume whatever he did is reversible?"

Bane has clambered out of his seat and over to examine R5, who gives a rather staticy beep as occasional flickers of electricity pulse around it's body. Bane shakes his head, before climbing back into his chair.

"It will be," he says grimly, "But in the meantime our controls are fried and he's the only one who can fly the ship via the override in the control room."

OOC: Bane Malar rolled 17 using 1d20+5. Repair.

"Meaning?" demands Eeth, who has come up the corridor behind Zirak.

"Meaning two things," Bane replies, "Firstly, and most importantly, this is all Fett's fault. And secondly, we are going to crash land on the galaxy's most predator filled moon, known colloquially as Duxn."

"...Sentient-predators, or just animals?" Zirak inquires, eyes glinting a hungry red.

"The ones that see you as food," Bane says darkly.

Zirak scowls, visibly displeased.

"Make sure Sora sticks close to Aurra then. I am tired of watching him trying to feed on me."

"Let's focus on landing first," Bane says curtly as the ship begins to be buffeted by waves of turbulence as they enter the upper atmosphere, "Better get everyone strapped in. This will be a little rough..."

Zirak folds his arms across his chest, making it silently clear that he refuses to do something so mundane as yield to the laws of gravity.

"At least engage R5's magnetic systems," Bane says as he brushes past, tottering up the corridor to Boba's unconscious form.

Zirak gives a reluctant shrug and obliges. He glances over his shoulder to make sure Bane is out of earshot before muttering to the lifeless droid.

"You'd better not die on me you metallic little curn..."

Bane groans as he glances across Boba's mangled back and shoulder.

"Xizor's going to kill me," he mutters as he crouches beside the unconscious bounty hunter, attempting to inject a medpac.

"Why do I even try?" he complains as blue fluid sprays everywhere except on Boba's back. Abandoning his efforts, he begins to drag Boba across to a nearby seat, panting heavily as he heaves him in and fastens him as best he can.

"I seriously don't get paid enough for this," he shakes his head, rubbing his shoulder as he hurries back down to the cockpit.

OOC: Bane Malar rolled 4 using 1d20. Treat Injury.

"Found the source of the toxin," Eeth calls from somewhere in the rear of the ship.

"Good for you," Bane calls back tersely as he sidles past Zirak into the pilots' seat.

"Who is that Fett idiot? And why do we care if he lives?" Zirak questions Bane, folding his arms as he rises once more to stand stoically behind the pilot's chair.

"Long story. I'll tell you all about it if we survive this," Bane shoots back as he flicks various switches about him.

The ship gives a shudder and jolts violently, its outside metal plating growing red hot as they pass through the lower atmosphere. They shoot through a layer of clouds and a sea of lush, green jungle extends below them as far as the eye can see. Bane hastily flicks another switch as a series of drag fins extend from the ship, slowing its descent marginally.

"Hold on to something!" Bane says through gritted teeth, "I'll try to angle us toward that clearing over there."

OOC: Bane Malar rolled 19 using 1d20+17. Pilot.

The ship gives its most violent jolt to date as it collides with the top of several trees, before ploughing through a dozen more. Zirak, still obstinately refusing to follow Bane's sensible strapping-in advice, is sent headfirst into the wall somewhere between trees four and five, and remembers little else of their landing. The heavy damaged ship reaches the clearing at last, skipping a couple of hundred meters across the lush grass before coming to a halt as it smacks into the foot of a towering, rugged cliff face. All is silent as smoke and fumes waft into the air, along with the smell of burnt wood and metal.

Zirak is the first to awaken, and finds himself lying inside in a containment field. The field seems to be located in a bunker of some kind with durasteel plated walls and floor. Several containment fields identical to the one that holds Zirak are spaced along the length of the room, inside two of which Sora and Eeth are also contained. There is no sign of Bane, Boba, Ak-Yev, Aurra or R5.

Beside the doorway of the room a figure dressed in grey Mandalorian armor glances over at Zirak, raising his wrist to speak into a comm.

"Prisoner in Cell C is awake."

Zirak, correctly taking in his situation, promptly attempts to force choke the guard. As he does so he feels a dizzying pain as neural disruptor waves from the containment field about him kick in, causing him to let out a series of vengeful curses.

The Mandalorian swiftly reaches for one of the blasters holstered at his side, before slowly relaxing his grip on the weapon.

"I wouldn't try anything if I were you," he says, his voice wary.

"When I am free, I will snap your neck and feed on your paralyzed body until all that's left of you is a suit of armour and desiccated remains," Zirak snarls, eyes burning with resentful hate.

The Mandalorian does his best to ignore the savage threats being issued from the inhabitant of the cage beside him. He does however keep one hand on the grip of his blaster.

The unfortunate Mandalorian does not have to endure Zirak's gaze for long, as the door to the room slides open a few moments later, and another Mandalorian enters, flanked by two guards. This Mandalorian wears armor of red and brown, with a cape hanging from his shoulders in place of a jetpack.

"I think this one is better off where he is," murmurs Zirak's guard as the newcomer passes.

The Mandalorian surveys Zirak appraisingly for a moment.

"Who are you?" he asks at length, holding up Zirak's lightsaber, "Is this your weapon?"

"Free me or die," Zirak retorts, eyes burning dangerously.

The Mandalorian is silent for a moment, his features unreadable beneath his helmet.

"Are you a companion of Sora Bulq's?" he asks after a moment, jerking his head in the direction of the unconscious Jedi.

"Sora is a companion of mine," Zirak corrects him haughtily, lip curling, "And not a very useful one at that. Are you with the Stratocratic filth whining about him blowing up that facility?"

"I am not affiliated with the Stratocracy," answers the Mandalorian, "My loyalty is to Mandalore."

"You mean that idiot who has half the galaxy up in arms?" Zirak sneers.

"The planet, not that pretender who calls himself 'Mandalore'," says the Mandalorian coolly, clearly not impressed by being associated with Mandalore the Successor, "As for releasing you, I bear you no ill will, but you have landed on my moon, and appear to bear a considerable degree of ill will toward my men and I. Tell me, if Sora is your companion, are you one of the Crusader Jedi?"

"Those weaklings?" Zirak scoffs, ignoring the correction about planets, "Don't insult me. I am a Sith, not some Jedi weakling. And as for my bearing you 'ill will', I bear it to anyone who locks me in a cage. Keep me in here if you are brave enough to risk it, but know that even if you won't release me, eventually your pathetic defences will fall, and when they do, I will destroy you."

"A Sith?" the Mandalorian repeats, tilting his head skeptically, "The Sith are working with the Jedi Crusaders now? Are you part of Lady Uvariel's 'Sith Empire'?"

"That is none of your concern," Zirak sneers, unwilling to admit he does not have the slightest clue who Uvariel is or what is currently happening with intergalactic politics, "However, I suggest you release me so I can get back to my mission at hand, unless you want to be crushed."

They are interrupted at this moment by Sora, who gives a sudden gasp and awaken.

"Where am I?" he says groggily.

The Mandalorian turns his attention to Sora, moving over to the containment field which holds the Weequay.

"Sora Bulq."

Sora frowns at his captor as he picks himself up.

"...Yes?"

"I am informed by your companion here that you are working with the Sith now. Is that correct?"

Sora glances at Zirak blankly, before turning back to the Mandalorian.

"I'm sorry, who are you?"

"I am a true Mandalorian," the Mandalorian replies, "I lead those who would see Mandalore restored. Now, are you working with this Sith?"

Sora surveys his captor warily.

"Why do you ask? What is it you want from us?"

The Mandalorian regards him for a moment, before shrugging.

"I want your assistance. In return, I can repair your ship and send you and your companions on your way."

"What happened to my ship?" Zirak demands, glaring.

"You tell me," the Mandalorian shrugs, "From what I can see there was some kind of battle on board which led to your crashing here on Duxn. The ship has sustained significant damage and won't be flying again without extensive repairs. However, as I said, I can help you in that regard."

Sora narrows his eyes.

"What kind of assistance do you want from us?"

"I need you to launch a raid," the Mandalorian replies.

"A raid?" Sora repeats blankly.

"Indeed. The false Mandalorians have an base on Onderon. I want it gone."

"Why not do it yourself?" Zirak asks suspiciously.

"I could," the Mandalorian allows, "But if I do so personally, the Mandalorian pretenders will simply return with an army intent on wiping out me and my men. If it appears to be the random act of the Jedi Crusaders, however..."

Sora does not look impressed.

"And they won't send this army after me?"

"Oh, doubtless they will," the Mandalorian replies, "But they won't know where to find you, and are unlikely to pay particular attention to this sector. And it isn't as though you don't have several armies hunting you already."

Sora glances at Zirak questioningly.

"We have no problem killing people," Zirak replies, "But if we are doing your dirty work then I want credits as well as our ship repaired."

The Mandalorian regards Zirak curiously.

"How many credits?"

Zirak frowns, opening his mouth then closing it again.

"I want Bane present to negotiate the amount."

"Ah. Bane Malar. Yes, my contacts identified him as one of your companions. Very well. Provided the number of credits is not too unreasonable I can supply those for you in addition to repairing your ship."

"Could your contacts locate a friend of ours?" Sora cuts in appraisingly.

"A friend?" queries the Mandalorian.

"Korr Sella," Sora explains, "She works for the Stratocracy but has been assisting us."

"'Assisting' is a stretch," Zirak sneers.

"Sella?" the Mandalorian says sharply, "You mean Governor Sondiv's daughter? Her father is offering a significant reward for anyone who is able to locate her, but from what I had heard the current suspect behind her disappearance is you, Sora Bulq."

"Well, I can assure you I am not the one responsible," Sora says coldly, "She was sold by a Duros gang on Nar Shaddaa, but to who I don't know. Locate her, and you shall have my assistance in destroying this base."

"Duros gang, eh?" the Mandalorian nods slowly, "Very well. I will see what information I can find on her. But I can't make any promises."

"No need to look too hard," Zirak sneers, lip curling as he rolls his eyes at Sora, "Her return is far less important than my credits. And if it's a choice between the two, we're going with credits, not information about where that female was stupid enough to get kidnapped off to."

"Very well," Sora agrees with a careful nod, "You have an agreement."

"Assuming our credit needs are satisfied," Zirak amends firmly.

The Mandalorian regards the pair for a moment longer before giving a curt nod and signalling to the guard by the field controls.

"Release them."

The guard looks as though he seriously questions the wisdom of this decision, but reluctantly does as instructed and the containment fields fade.

"Wise of you," Zirak sniffs to the Mandalorian leader as he shoots the guard a venomous glare, "Now, where is Bane?"

The Mandalorian turns to lead the way out of the room.

"Follow me."

The Mandalorian proceeds to lead Zirak and Sora out into a narrow corridor and across into another room almost identical to the one they woke up in. Containment fields are spaced along the length of the room, inside which lie the crumpled forms of Bane, Aurra and Ak-Yev. R5 stands at the far end of the room, a restraining bolt attached to his frame.

"Beep-boopity-dweep!" beeps the droid indignantly as the Mandalorian enters, still distorted by a significant degree of static. Upon spotting Zirak, it directs its next series of beeps at him, "Beep-beepity-boop-beep-boopity."

"Get that thing off him," Zirak demands coldly, gesturing at the restraining bolt.

The guards beside the Mandalorian glance at him questioningly, but he gives a curt nod and they move over to the droid to comply.

"Wake them up," he adds with another wave in the direction of the containment fields.

Zirak follows the guard responsible for removing the restraining bolt over to R5.

"Did they download any intel from you we need to destroy while we're here?" he addresses the droid.

"Beepity-boop-beep," R5 swivels its dome back and forth, "Beep-boopity-dweep."

"Good. They'd better not have," Zirak replies, glaring at the Mandalorian guard.

"Your friends were injected with medpacs when you were first brought back to our base, but I cannot say how long it will be until they awaken," the Mandalorian informs Zirak and Sora, "Until they do-"

"I may be able to help with that," Sora interrupts, moving over to Bane's unconscious form to place a hand on the right side of the mercenary's helmet. A blue light wells from his hand for a moment before passing into Bane, who gives a sharp gasp and awakens.

OOC: Sora Bulq rolled 20 using 1d20+5. Heal Another.
Bane Malar gained 5 wound points.

"Impressive," the Mandalorian allows, as Sora moves over to Ak-Yev.

Bane shakes himself as he sits up and glances around. He stiffens as his gaze rests upon the Mandalorian and his guards.

"Who are these guys?" he directs warily at Zirak.

"I can't believe you were knocked out longer than I was after the fuss you made about strapping ourselves in," Zirak says smugly, ignoring Bane's question, "But more importantly, though, how many credits should we charge to blow up a facility for them?"

"In my defense, I was sitting in the front of the ship, so I- Wait, blowing up what for who?"

"Some random facility on Onderan," Zirak shrugs impatiently, "It doesn't really matter where, does it? One sentient is much like any other in terms of easy killing and food."

"Where is our ship? And who's this guy?" Bane jerks his head at the Mandalorian.

"Our ship is damaged," Zirak says thinly, "These bucket heads are going to repair it for us and give us credits in return for blowing up that facility. This is their leader I believe."

"They are also going to provide information on the whereabouts of Sella," Sora puts in as Ak-Yev stirs beside him.

"And I was just about to say 'yes' to this deal," Bane says dryly.

Sora shoots him a dark glance, but it is the Mandalorian who replies.

"We will endeavour to provide answers on Sella's location," he clarifies, "I can make no promise of how successful our efforts will be."

"Better," Bane asserts, picking himself up with a groan.

"So, how many credits do we charge them?" Zirak says impatiently, clearly keen to draw the conversation back to important matters.

"Well that depends," replies Bane, "What kind of facility are we talking about?"

"A facility run by the Mandalorian pretenders," answers the Mandalorian coolly, "Their security system is outdated but they have at least a hundred well trained warriors stationed there."

"'Mandalorian pretenders'?" repeats Bane, "Wait, you're those crazy Mandalorian radicals, aren't you? 'The Real Mandalorians' was it?"

OOC: Bane Malar rolled 26 using 1d20+8. Knowledge (Streetwise).

"The True Mandalorians," the Mandalorian corrects him evenly.

"Right..." says Bane, before shrugging, "All right then. We want one hundred thousand credits. As well as our ship repaired."

The Mandalorian gives a nod of acquiescence.

"One hundred thousand credits it is."

Bane pauses a moment, before nodding slowly.
