Thanks very much for everyone's response. For the record, this will be my first time
running the system, so most of us will be learning it together. I'd be proud to have each one of you who has expressed interest join in.
By way of explanation, I'm planning to run
Dragon Heist, which is an urban centered adventure set in the colorful city of Waterdeep. Waterdeep is a rich setting, and as you might infer, while there will be some dangerous lairs and underground tunnels to explore, that's only one facet of the unfolding tale. The scenario has a real swashbuckling feel to it, and it provides a lot of opportunities for puzzle solving, social interaction, and role playing.
I'm working on putting the game together and expect to have it done in roughly a week to two weeks' time. As soon as it's ready for players, I'll drop a PM to those who were open to coming on board.
Thanks again to everyone for their feedback.
P.S. On an entirely separate note, I would feel like I was remiss in my duties if I didn't point out the
Deadlands: The Weird West kickstarter, in case anyone wants to make a pledge before it closes down.
