Hi everyone!  Iím excited for this game.  I donít have a specific character concept at the moment so Iíd love to hear what others plan on playing so I can fill in the gaps.

Hey everyone! We're already up to three four players, which is awesome! All of you mentioned that you don't have a particular character in mind yet, which I think is the best way to go about this - it gives everyone a chance to figure out how your characters ended up adventuring together in the first place. :) Feel free to chat amongst yourselves and throw some ideas around!

Hello! Quite excited to get into the game, I've never had the pleasure to be in this particular adventure before.

I have a bunch of different character concepts, but most of them revolve around magic users (both arcane and divine). The one I am considering the most strongly at the moment is a human Warlock. Although half-orc Bard is slowly growing on me, the more I think about it...

On the note of character creation, I have a question to the DM:
What do we use for our stats? Standard array, point buy? Rolling 4d6, drop lowest?

Standard array is perfectly fine, but you can roll for stats if you so desire. :)

I do very much so like living dangerously, so I will probably roll. Single set, or do we get a reroll or a choice between two sets? Either is fine with me; terribly statted characters are fun to play, too (if a detriment to the team).

I'd like to try out the Monk.  Maybe a Half-Elf

I'll probably just take the array.

It's up to you - I suppose it depends how potentially bumbling you want to be. ;)

Re: OOC
We're up to five players now, and I'm calling the group complete. :)

Also, a quick note: if you want to manage your character sheet with Mythweavers or another site, that's fine by me. :)

Re: OOC
Greetings everyone. Human Variant, Ranger, Outlander with Magic Initiate feat here. Pleasure to make your acquaintance. Personally, I am torn between the dice roller (who mostly hates me) and just taking the array...

Re: OOC
In that case, I'll make the gamble of rolling, and if I don't like the scores, I'll reroll once and keep the second set no matter how good or bad it is.

I will make the rolls first and then decide on the character to play, if that's okay with you.

Sorry for the onslaught of messages, haha. And welcome to the last couple players! Nice to see  someone on board who has already made a definite choice of character. :'D

Re: OOC
So we are level 1 characters, right? Just want to make sure that I don't have to worry about Archetypes at the moment.

Re: OOC
Well, I rolled for my stats: first roll was mediocre but not terrible. Decided to take that gamble and reroll the whole lot, and got some pretty baller results. I think I will go with the Bard after all, but I'll sleep on it and make a final decision tomorrow morning (perhaps more people will declare their own character classes by then, too).
