The Dark Hunters were not concerned with some poor Matoran's. When Kapeti decided not to confront them further, they were happy to ignore him completely. Already they were chatting about more important matters: a ship docked somewhere, and a cache of foreign weapons to be sold to the Skadki's tribe in exchange for other goods.
Kapeti kept going west until the sun had crept beneath the horizon and night was upon him. Just as it seemed fruitless to continue in the dark, he finally spotted shimmering light from a structure ahead: the temple grounds.
The road was all downhill from here and easy to traverse.
Arriving at one end of what he could tell was a long valley, the Matoran eventually arrived at a hewed stone wall with a
grand stone gate. It was mostly a decorative structure, and beyond its open arch lay the temple grounds.
A handful of Matoran were visibly moving around in the open outdoor space, though the darkness obscured their appearance.
Outside the gates stood
a Po-Matoran wearing an ornate copper mask, tending to a single Mahi he had leashed. He raised his arms and waved a greeting at Kapeti.
Sorry for the delay. I had this post almost done and did not get around to actually posting it.
You may start posting in the topic named "IC 2: Treacherous Paths" (direct link to topic). The Po-Matoran is an NPC. The others (2 Ta-, 1 Le-, and 1 Bo-Matoran) are players.
