Character Creation
This game is using The Window, a semi-freeform rule-set.

Character progression is XP based, and skill-based, not level based. This means no hard and fast classes, design your character as you like. Decide who you want to play, and how you want to play them within the guidelines. I'll try to get an example up soon.

Character Creation
A character sheet is divided into Traits and Skills. When it is time to make a character sheet, give me each list reordered according to priority. I'll post an example soon.

  • Education
  • Endurance
  • Force
  • Perception
  • Strength

Skills
  • Astrogate
  • Barter
  • Bluff
  • Craft (Specify)
  • Disguise
  • Gamble
  • Gather Information
  • Handle Animal
  • Intimidate
  • Knowledge (Specify)
  • Mechanics
  • Pilot
  • Presence
  • Rapport
  • Ride
  • Slicing
  • Stealth
  • Treat Injury
  • Lightsabers
  • Mounted Weapons
  • One-Handed Range (Blaster/Slug-Thrower)
  • One-Handed Melee ()
  • Two-Handed Range ()
  • Two-Handed Melee ()
  • Unarmed
  • Affect Mind
  • Alter Environment
  • Control
  • Sense
  • Telekinesis

*Notes
The Force trait - This will also serve as luck for non-sensitive characters. The Force worked through Han Solo, just not in the same way it did Luke Skywalker.

Weapon skills - I grouped them together, feel free to list only the important ones. One-Handed Ranged (Blasters) is just fine. If you have a particular weapon you want, specificity is often rewarded. It represents not just your ability to aim and shoot, but troubleshooting, maintenance, even knowledge about them.

Exotic Weapons - Two-Handed Ranged (Bowcaster) is required for that specific weapon. This is the case for all "exotic" weapons. This includes lightsabers if you are not a force-user. (Such as the case with General Grievous)

Force Skills - If you are not sensitive, skip those five. If you are sensitive, those five skills generally cover the range of force powers and will determine your ability to use them.

Additional Skills - This list is the standard, and serves as an overall suggestion of skills to represent your characters learning and abilities; however, it is not exhaustive.

If in doubt, ask me. I am in the process of adapting The Window for Star Wars and haven't thought of absolutely everything. One of the reasons I am using this system is the inherent fluidity and ease of customization.
