Re: OOC Chatter (2)

I am using the storm druid archetype. If that helps anyone come to grips with a dwarven Druid. I will reply in character later.

I get wild shape, i don't get a familiar, i get to spontaneously cast my domain spells instead of summons and a few other little boons.

Re: OOC Chatter (2)

It’s a good archetype. I think dwarves make very good versatile druids.

Re: OOC Chatter (2)

Not saying he has storm burst
I love storm burst
It deals non lethal damage and give a minor debuff of the creatures next attack

It is a great capture the wounded option and is fun

My storm Druid was also a divination wizard..

Re: OOC Chatter (2)

When I get a second domain, I was going to take Seasons subdomain, that is in the Weather domain where Storm Burst is, but i lose that for shared endure elements. That will be a while though :)

Re: OOC Chatter (2)

For whatever reason I have had a hard time keeping myself going on this particular game so I think it is best that I bow out and leave a space for another player.  Sorry guys and I hope you have a great time.

Please feel free to keep Eilyne around as an NPC if you like, it doesn't bother me in the least.

In reply to Eilyne Groveborn (msg # 228):

Hey, that Botanist reworked and tuned that catapult for you, it was practically sabatoge and getting d6s instead of d20s to hit before.

Would not be surprised if the bandits actually had sabatoged it, and got caught offguard by it working.

I'd say getting more then 1000ft out of the catapult will require magic range booster(s) and incur a lot of range penalties. Probably too far, but if we move it it could be used from some distance, treeline provided. Great distraction if you don't mind defending or losing it.

Oh we don’t necessarily need them, but they’re here and ready to fire... so might as well get some mileage!

Sorry to see you go Eilyne.

Octavia Cassiana has I think for the siege weapons, it all the hard wood it made of and the pounding it give (ref:- you need read back over what happen when we fixed it).

I am sorry to see you go Eilyne Groveborn.  Your character fitted well with Tauron.
But I totally understand.  Life hard at moment for everybody.

It's just that it was so much work to get them fully erect, it would be a shame not to use them now.

That seems really slow to me.

I am settling in to my job change.  Now working for myself and from home.  So it might take some time to sort out my posting schedule to move things forward.

In reply to Dododir Thunderborn (msg # 241):

https://viajon.net/pf/crafting/
https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats...ts/master-alchemist/ 28 hours?  /10 = 2.8 hours.

Supposedly Spontanous Alchemy alternate rules are good too, particularly for lower level games, but I've never really looked at it. The craft system isn't perfect but it's a rough approximation, true alchemists get swift alchemy which helps as well, but Theo is a dabbler in alchemy.

Theoretically you should be able to make so many batches of anything you produce alchemically, supplies willing, at roughly the same time. so it might take 3 days, but you could be making 12 at a time.

There are ways to shorten this, but they involve inflating the skill check even more. Theo can't even hit dc 20 with take 10 here, as he needs a roll of 11 to produce it.

Or maybe he needs someone to stand by him and cast guidance on him non stop?

Or if you had a gnome herb witch somewhere about the general area.......

Who uses profession herbalism in place of alchemy checks, and has a bonus based on level and a bonus based on race, and it is her main thing....

Well that and the remedies she can remove many conditions with.....
and brewing potions....
