Yelena is waiting to see how Mattaki reacts to Bhalla's latest. I think her statements were directed at people besides Yelena. So while she is there for support (particularly support for Yelena) she hasn't been involved in the conversation and is a little hesitant to jump in without good reason.

Lena doesn't know what she's even being accused of, so her aggressor will either calm down or not.

There's nothing worse than trying to calm an upset person with reason, you calm an upset person with calm.  Or chocolate.  But I'm all out of chocolate.

I'm sorry for the slow pace - it looks like we've lost quite a few players. By now, I only see Bhalla, Lena and Yelena logging in. I've had some other stuff going on, too (recovering from surgery in both knees right now), so I haven't been that close to the game.

It looks as if the game has run out of steam.

If the three of you are still interested in continuing, I'll pivot the game a little, focus it more on the three of you (Bhalla has sorta set this up now anyway with the meeting with Auntie) and then see how it goes further.

If you'd rather pass on it, no hard feelings, too!

Yeah I'm still here.  It happens a lot this time of year with the holiday nonsense.  It's not just the holidays it's everyone's jobs trying to cram stuff in before the holidays.

I do apologize for basically just ghosting since the middle of October, work shifted, priorities shifted, and with the insomnia increasing (from work stress increasing) I've just not had the mental badwidth to even "do the online" at all since roughly October 15th.  I do not expect a change any time soon (basically the Medicare insurance season is "on" from October 15th till March 31st) and I'm not doing the work from home anymore (haven't since June, so I know some of you have noticed a marked decrease in my presence since then).

I'm hoping (fingers crossed) that come the end of December work priorities will shift for me, and free up some time/mental energy and I can make a return... but no promises.  No promises for March either, depending on how work pivots, well, the insurance biz is taking a turn for the worse again, so I might not even be doing it anymore by then, and who knows what will be going on.

Warmaster, if you want to shift the PC on to someone else, I won't feel slighted.  Otherwise, I'll be happy to converse about it again when time let's up on my narrowed priorities.

Semyon, there's always going to be a space for you at my game table. Don't worry and take it easy, you'll get back when you get back.
