Teranovae has plans for a gravitic effect that 'contains' explosions... but she has not got the xp for it yet.  And she's already acted anyways... but in the future we might coordinate an Amanda 'bomb-toss' and Teranovae 'Explosion containment', lol!

So plastic explosives are plastic because their clay like explosive can be shaped and sized. Classic example is tiny amount applied to a lock, deadbolt or into the space between the door where you think the hinges are.

2e this would be a simple matter of voluntarily reducing the area of effect. Not sure what the rules are in 3e.

So thinking of the following as options.


Benefit:
She ups her persuasion form, from persuasion 7 to persuasion 13
She gets a combat form which rolls +9 to hit; gets +10 damage; which is good at flowing into weak points to maximize damage.
Still manages to avoid inhuman shapes. Extra long sharpened nails are a human look.

She's probably best suited to "Citizen Discontent" even before bumping her disguise form. She could contribute immunity to radiation and ability to construct IEDs and landmines to the defense effort. Really only "What's Up, Doc?" is she fairly useless. She went from the life of minor aristocracy under mother to not requiring food to survive. She only knows how to get Mother's home cooked meals.

Typically you'd spend a hero point to acquire an Alternate Effect temporarily for that sort of thing.

Well, Legacy's body went "ow, things actually hurt me" and objected to that, so his regeneration set itself up in imitation of the healing nanomachines.

I could do or aid in the top three quests. No skill in Botany - Legacy isn't a good farmer. As for "other," I could probably think of something, but immediate complaints aren't a bad pursuit.

That's normally a use of extra-effort and applies more to things like using C4 to give yourself leaping a la rocket jump. Normally using a power at less than max rank is built into the power. Boy blue could yeet that bus 50 miles but chooses to yeet it 15 ft instead and gently.

2e you explicitly could do this with area. 3e doesn't mention using powers at less than max rank.

Not sure base is the way to go. I'd say giant vehicle is more post appocallypse and harder for mother to target. I'd also point out Amanda can't sleep and doesn't need shelter, others are less extreme but still with the why bother? Could see doing a crystal cave that teleport or a colony spaceship thing. Especially if we start turning the hospital into one.

Technology (explosives) 3

Benefit:
Improves her action economy, drops her shot up defense in spy mode as well as her formerly unusable combat in spy mode, no great loss.
Majorly upgrades combat mode by making it more of an unthinking flow state of rage.
Starting to build towards inventor for all your explosive needs. I figure 1 cp for inventor and improvised tools and then 4 cp to max the skill. Probably a few cp along the way to improve the HQ or up things like investigation.

In my character Description.. I've included a 'Team Gear' Detailing the improvements on the team base and or any additional 'Team' Gear, Vehicles, etc.. we will be collecting over time ~ so everyone can view them as you cannot 'see' my character sheet where all her point donations to team resources are also listed.

We may consider opening a Team Resources Thread at some point, though right now its not likely needed with only Tera donating to the base.

Let me know when you think it is necessary and it will be created.

Amanda has a utility belt structure with all the bombs minus the rocket launcher, she wouldn't hesitate to loan people whatever but it's unclear how much loaning things from a bat belt is allowed. Probably like hand everyone a flashbang to start combat would be fine. Otherwise she's not big on equipment.

Actually, Legacy should roll one too now that I think about it a bit more.

One perfectly, slightly below average roll that is too risky to reroll.

08:34, Today: Amanda King rolled 19 using 1d20+14.  Persuasion (includes attractive bonus).

Terrible roll but she is competing on super easy mode making herself extra super pretty.
