Again sorry for the delay. Consult the table of twenty things that could upend my week and then roll three times.

Re: OOC discussions, commentary, and suggestions
I've been out much of the last couple of days, while juggling a cold, a paranormal romance novel in the works (selkie/human), a logo commission (done now), a book series logo commission (also done) and housework. There's always more to do than time to do it, but at least a fair bit of it is fun.

Re: OOC discussions, commentary, and suggestions
Can everyone please add here some detail that their character notices about the place they are in? I'll work it in.

Some distinct thing their character could notice about the location : building details, oddments, or something that just would catch their eye.

Detail added:
While he noticed before, as he entered, Tremor took the pause to look again at the stones beneath his feet, and find the tracings or the shimmering iron in between the mason rock of the floor. There was design there, and while it was not difficult to guess the whole design, the odd segment of iron that did show, the Halfling was sure the metal was Flametouched Iron.

Re: OOC discussions, commentary, and suggestions

I gave you a rug. There might be more! :D Set dressing (describing a scene) has always been difficult for me. I can see what's there in my imagination, lots of things ...but putting it into words that don't sound like a grocery list, is another thing. As a GM, I often have to work at it (research and rewrites, galore). As a PC, I truly appreciate having the scene set for me. It's like recess!

Re: OOC discussions, commentary, and suggestions
Well, I'm not going to press hard, but many hands make light work, and you might give me something that sparks my imagination.

After all, the central MacGuffin for The Big Lebowsky was a rug.

Jack:

OOC: I meant to include above, that this quote was appropriately pirated, and not mine.

"It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living." -Terry Pratchett

I think someone said something about stealing from the best? I can't recall.

In reply to The GM (msg # 176):

Ditto on the sparking.

I, uh...still haven't seen that movie. Now I'm curious about the rug...

Re: OOC discussions, commentary, and suggestions
I've posted a bunch of stuff, but I have a niggling feeling I have forgotten some question or detail that I ought not to have.

If you have any questions about things in or out of character be sure to ask me here, and I'll do my best to get it sorted out.

I swear, I think I've skipped something somewhere. Maybe I'm losing my mind.
