Hotd almost got canceled last Saturday. I almost ended the campaign that I've worked on for 15 years. But I came to the realization that it wasn’t the players fault. It was the DM’s fault, its my fault.

OK! With that being said, Hotd is going to go through some changes. I have taken a week to think about people saying they hate Rpol and Rpol group. As a DM I’ve had to think about how to deal with this.

**1st: I will respond to peoples hate Rpol. I get it! But its the only Way to run this campaign with this group.

I’ve thought about this. All week and this is how I’m going to deal with this. I’m going to only post 1 time a week on Saturday. I will be writing a long post for each thread. You the player have all week to post a reply. I will look at all the replies and write another long post. If you didn’t write a reply I’m gonna take it as you don’t have a reply because you had all week.

**2nd: I’m going to start running table top sessions on this months January, April and July. The table to sessions will start were we are on Rpol. So they are moving the story forward. I’m not say you have to be at all three table to session. Because I’m going to have some players keep notes during the sessions. I will gather these notes up at the end and write a summary on Rpol of what happened. I know that their will be things going on in Rpol. But we will know when the table top session is so we will make it work. Just remember this is only a game. So its not the end of the world if something doesn't get done.

**3rd: I’m still going to do Mission and all players have to do missions. Doing missions is how your character get levels, If you choose not to do missions your character stay level 1! It a game don’t worry about how it work. That is for the DM to worry about, not the player. Its a game it doesn't have to always make sense. (Think of them as anime filler episodes if that helps your Brain.)

Some people have things to say about this. I'm not moving forward with the campaign to we all talk about this. I want to get thing worked out. So let talk!

I have said how I want to do posting, but some of you want to add or do other things. Lets talk as group about ideas on this. As a group we will decide the best course of action.

I want to hear opinions from everybody. I want to make the campaign better. People are unhappy and I can't fix it with out you talking to me.

I am good with either way.  But what I get frustrated with is how slow things are moving even on the rpol saturdays.  I think its because the GM is split between 3 different campaigns and his/Lauren trying to post on all 3 at the same time.

Wpuld there be an issue with the GM focusing on hotd 2 saturdays a month and tombstone on a 3rd saturday and yellow signs a 4th saturday.

Plus all 3 campaigns being posted on during the month by players.

Just a thought.

I like this idea a lot. Sometimes, especially if I have a lot of different threads going at the same time, I have a hard time keeping up and miss vital things. And when that happens I get really frustrated which makes keeping up even harder because at that point I just want to close rpol entirely.

But I also like Lauren's Addendum, that if all the players in a thread have posted and said that they are ready to move on, I could see that it warrants a GM post.

For the tabletop sessions, all I ask is that we set a date far enough in advance that I have a shot of getting the day off. As you know, working in retail, it's hard to get days off unless you ask pretty far in advance so, I would love to come down and run just let me know at least a couple months ahead of time.
