Looks good. I have bought some kit based on my earlier suggestion, just need DM to confirm either way.

Re: OOC

Grading is done!
----------------------------------
Think I have answered all the pms.
------------------------------------
I think Thirswen did a great job answering the Fellowship phases question.

Also as a reminder unlike normal fantasy games in a 'typical' year you do very little adventuring:  About 2-3 months in a year.  Healing of wounds take a bit longer, many will gain or have family/community responsibilities, etc. In the north during the winter many have to hunker down and hang on till the spring.

Please refresh u=your self with house rules, timelines, scribe notes etc.

You will start to see a spread of XP/ Levels-I think it helps with the feel of the game and the reality of party members that stay' leave and join.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

I will be starting the new threads shortly-to streamline the reintroduction of the game and get a bunch of players together in a  Pbp post game here are some things to help:  (Help me with the party integration-this is one of the areas that I have seen RPOl games goes astray and party's can't even get off the ground together)

Asgrim, Gudri, Thiriswen, Alenia, Berethor and Sadrion will all know each other and have 'adventured together' as they just finished the Adventure 'Bad Omens on the River'.

Asgrim, Gundri and Thirswen have been together longer and have a bit of a 'hero' status slowly emerging about them-perhaps why the younger players are flocking to them

Valtharr and Thalanir will have know each other as they adventured together 'briefly' through the Mirkwood forest.

Thalanir and Thirwn will know each other from Thranduils Halls.

the last player will probably be a hobbit and he will have an easy connection from the Easterly Inn.

Cheers!

Re: OOC

OK-I think everything is updated and we are on our way.....

A few things from all the various threads that I updated.

1.  As you can tell I'm a bit OCD with record keeping.  the game is complex and has a lot of neat aspects but does require a lot of record keeping

2.  XP  At the resumption of the game
Asgrim, Gundri and Thirisen place yourselves at 4500 XP (Level 2)
Alenia, Berethor and Sadrion place yourselves at 500XP (Level 2)
Thalanir and Valtharr place yourselves at 300 XP (LVL 2)

3. The 6 of you that participated in the last adventure
-All players get 50 silver pieces.
-Each of you gains a simple wooded bear claw broach from Beorn that gives you Advantage on any interactions with a Beorning.
-Can take 'Open Sanctuary' for Beorns' Home.

4.  Double check Journeys.  I have you placed where I think you best fit.  But feel free to tell me otherwise.

Re: OOC

All looks good but please can I double check a couple of things:

Loremaster:
Valtharr and Thalanir will have know each other as they adventured together 'briefly' through the Mirkwood forest.

Thalanir and Thirwn will know each other from Thranduils Halls.

My presumption was that Thalanir spoke to Thiriswen about his dream while at Thranduil's Hall and then traveled with her to the Easterly Inn. Is that not correct as it sounds like Thiriswen hasn't been in the Woodland Realm for a while now?

Or is the idea that Thalanir met Valtharr while travelling to the Easterly Inn and they've had some minor adventures together already?

I ask because I'm not sure whether Thalanir will have related his dream to Thiriswen or not.

Please can you clarify?

Thanks.

This is Valtharr’s first expedition west of Mirkwood, so I assume we met on the road and travelled together for safety. We may have gotten into a few scrapes on the road!

Will add more to my IC post when I get the chance.  Basically it will end with me in the pub, having a pint! (As all good tales should...).

Re: OOC

I've presumed in my IC post that Thalanir and Valtharr aren't sat with the rest of the PCs at present and that we can therefore introduce ourselves shortly IC and get involved in whatever escapade the Woodman Quickfoot is about to relate.

Re: OOC

Lets work our posts to find a way to get everyone together for this adventure phase.

Remember the character tie ins:

Alenia, Asgrim, Gundri, Berethor, Sadrion and Thiriswen are the original party.

Thalanir and Valtharr are traveling companions and Thalanir knows Thiriswen

Perrin knows the owners of the inn and they have told him about the party.

In reply to Loremaster (msg # 450):

Don't worry. At the first opportunity Thalanir is going to talk to Thiriswen. This will be when QuickFoot either leaves having concluded his conversation or sits down and joins Thiriswen and her companions.

Perrin has yet to be tied in...he is officially in the scene.  I'm hoping Asgrim and/or Gundri will see him and draw him in, in some way.

Sorry - my second post was an addendum to my original post as the situation had developed with other characters physically advancing which Thalanir would have done as well. Apologies for any confusion.
