How do I get hold of one of the heirlooms? I fancy the shepherds bow and the feathered armour. Do I ask for one, or do i try to obtain one in our next Fellowship phase?

At levels 4,8, 12,16,19 you get a Character Improvement.

You can select one of the 3 things::

 1.  +1 to 2 abilities (just like the original DnD)
 2.  Cultural (Only Starting) or Open Virtue
 3.  Cultural(to include the ones you have gained)

Going to draw up an NPC tonight to 'play' tonight and help give the party another player with some consistency.  I guess a lot of people don't have these rules or don't want to try it.  The adverts seem to fall on deaf ears-unlike when I run a normal 5e game I get 5+ RTJs for every slot.

We have 2 Treasure hunters, a warden and a wanderer.

My thoughts are to give you a sword and board front rank tank, or a Lore Master that can assist with healing.  Support NPC that will help and can be used to help 'move/prod' the party along in an IC fashion.

Any thoughts or druthers?

I could switch to playing Gundri's sister, who is a warrior. Then we would have only 1 treasure hunter.

Re your advert, maybe worth emphasising it is a game set in middle Earth rather than just another 5e game. New players don’t need detailed knowledge of the system as you/we can help them through the process if needed. That might appeal to some gamers.

If you want to add an NPC that is fine, but I don’t think it is necessary. As we are not a combat heavy group we might need to solve problems other ways...!

With Ghostwalker, we have a warrior as well. I not sure if he is more a frontline warrior or archer-type but a warrior still. So that may make your decision a little easier. I will post in the Moot thread soon.

LOL! Silver uh? Well... that will be fine with Hum. He is a Hobbit with simple tastes, but if he returns to the Shire with a chest of gold like Bilbo, he would be fine with that too.

It is mostly a backdrop for the things that are happening around the party and could have short/long term impacts on the campaign.

Players are encouraged to participate as you see fit.
