My colleague is staying in Taiwan another week. His Father in law has cancer and his prognosis is not good. My colleague will return to our office on June 6th.

I go on my vacation June 13th.

My partner is back. No telling if we'll get a rehire for the lady we lost.  But we're entering our slowest part of our year, so we may not get one until Back To School starts in mid August.

I should be able to check in every day again, and post as well.

Oooh boy. University job? We're in a pretty similar boat in a 24/7 department. Less workload but you can only really physically be at work for so many hours a day waiting for a thing to break.

I work in IT for a food service company. They have folks in hospitals, national parks, correctional facilities, colleges & universities, K-12 schools, stadiums and other entertaining and conference centers, as well as corporate business offices.

Colleges & Uni's and businesses slow down from June to August. Parks pick up during that same time, but they are smaller populations, so it's a 'net loss'.  Hospitals & prisons pretty stay steady all year long, as you'd expect. :-) Entertainment is completely random depending on bookings at said facilities.

I am going on vacation starting tomorrow. I will likely not check in or post until my return next week.  Going to Florida to visit relatives and see Disney World.

I hope our Narrator's job search went well.

It's been very quiet here, and the story was so darn interesting to begin.

I know I'll be stealing borrowing this "time shift" idea for my own game sometime. It's just too darn rich and full of possibilities. =)

I admit I've assumed that Narrator has gone for good.  Didn't recall there was a job search in progress; hope it went well.

I agree, was really enjoying the game.  I find it difficult to run a compelling story with supers and thought this certainly was.  Started to put together a game just to run some of the old 4th edition Champions adventures but...geez after I re-read them I kind of wasn't impressed.  Hats off to good GMs
