Xander:
Flaming Hellshark

If that's not the name of someone's band, it should be.

Not sure if this was clear, but if you want to act in this round you may.

Re: Behind the Gellar Field

I was waitinf for an answer to this. To Avenge or maybe even smite some stuff.

Brother Arkio:
Coolies. I feared it would get us more trouble in one go.

Can i use Avenger to hit more targets? Multiple nerve clusters and maybe even those bad warriors?

Re: Behind the Gellar Field

You can hit one of the nerve clusters and the Warrior next to it.

I'd have Kyros go for one of the pillars, but he's lost in a frenzy, so he's going for his next opponent.

Im all in favor of setting a time limit for a turn so it doesn't take ages to get murdered by hive tyrants.

Re: Behind the Gellar Field

Just trying to find which oath we took. Like a buffoon I forgot to put it in my scratch pad & every time I've gone looking for it I've got interrupted. I'm thinking these 'nids are due a good squad mode-ing. How about Strongpoint with Xander as the centre?

Edit: Found it, Oath of Knowledge. Hands up all those who forgot we get +10 to WS & BS Vs Tyranids...*sheepishly raises a hand*

Re: Behind the Gellar Field

I'll create a thread where you can post your most recent Squad mode Choice, and then everyone will be able to check what it was most recently without scrolling through the archives.

In reply to Hrothgar (msg # 126):

I'm okay with being the Center (since you can designate a Battle Brother other than yourself)  if you still want to be mobile.  Otherwise, just let us know what to aim for :)

Also, entering squad mode doesn't cost cohesion.  Rather, you roll a d10 and try to get = to or less than our current cohesion.  If you succeed,  it's just a free action on your turn.  If you fail, it requires a full action to join Squad Mode.

Re: Behind the Gellar Field

If you're ok being the centre, fill your magboots dude. I only nominated myself because you'd already posted for this round.

The 3 cohesion spent was to fire up the Strongpoint pattern.

In reply to Hrothgar (msg # 130):

More than happy to plant mah feet .  I just figured that since I passed the willpower test,  it would be better to spend the round attacking and let someone else spend the full action to activate Strongpoint.

Re: Behind the Gellar Field

I managed to dodge the first attack, so he's hit on the second one, I updated my post.  The second hit was to the right arm, and with 3 Pen, reduces the armor to 5.  24 damage minus 5 - 8 is 11 wounds.  A solid hit, and actually the first hit of any consequence for Kyros so far, but he's still in this (pretty worried until I did the math).
