The Dessert Section (NPCs)
Vizier Gerhardt
Profession: Advisor to the Sultan, Governor of Al Daima
Race: Tiefling (faint ancestry, only eyes look inhuman)

Vizier Gerhardt is the man at the very top of the food chain in Al Daima, though most probably wouldn't know it. He rarely leaves the comfort of his room at the top of the fortress unless a new caravan of flesh has come in. His fair skin and name very much spells he is not a native to the region, but to the north. However he has earned the trust and ear of the Sultan, which it's believed that he used this position of influence to bring the Sultan around to the idea of Al Daima. He is extremely racist towards non-humans and the conflict between Al Daima and the local monster people population was just the spark he needed to eject most of them from the city, as was proper in his words.

The Dessert Section (NPCs)
Magister Myrun Thorsgrimdottir
Profession: Commander of Military Personnel, Peacekeeper
Race: Human

A woman of impressive height and build, standing just over six foot and well muscled, Myrun is the real authority in Al Daima. Sure, she has to cow-tow to Gerhardt, but she is the one out there in the day to day keeping the peace and stopping raids from happening. As such she has a fair bit of respect from the people, even monster folk, as she does her level best to stay impartial. "Long as you aren't breaking any laws, don't care what you look like." Is her defacto stance on the matter, even doing her best to curb Gerhardt's overt animosity towards monster folk. Seemingly hailing from the same place as Gerhardt, she is fair skinned with fierce features and a perpetual scowl on her face. There is an air about her that says she isn't in Al Daima by choice.

The Dessert Section (NPCs)
Astra Thorsgrimdottir
Profession: Painter, Slave
Race: Human

Depending on ones schedule, one might not know Astra even exists. As she rarely leaves the fortress, however when she does she is always in the company of Myrun. There is a weird dynamic however there, as Astra bears a slave's collar, while Myrun does not. And when Gerhardt accompanies them, the man seems to be on his best behavior toward the girl. Glances, even rude comments bring Myrun's glower down upon him causing him to backtrack quickly. For Astra's part, she is an absolute sweetheart outside of Gerhardt's presence, though she flinches as physical contact from anyone by Myrun. And with the way she constantly wears her hair and compulsively keeps it hiding the scarred side of her face, one could assume it was a new acquisition.

The Dessert Section (NPCs)

Jinx
Profession: Bodyguard, Slave
Race: Goblin

Jinx is...strange. She is a happy, sweet, bubbly goblin girl...who likes to violently smash things with her oversized two-handed hammer. The only slave owned by Gerhardt allowed to carry a weapon, Jinx seems to be quite obedient to him. Truthfully, she is one of Gerhardt's favorite playthings...and he plays rough...he breaks more slaves than any body can quite keep track of. But Jinx is the only one whose remained functional, if not quite all there. "Her mind got screwed," is a common phrase said in her direction...but every now and then one might catch her giving her owner a look that says maybe, just maybe she could be un-screwed with some care or maybe a more magnetic personality than her current owners.

The Dessert Section (NPCs)
Vrae'LiNeeeraste
Profession: Slave Trainer, Slave
Race: Drow Noble

Vrae carries herself with a deep pride and arrogance. At one point in her life she was a fairly important noble and world class slave trainer, until rivals not liking her, her popularity or her methods schemed to be done with her. And to do so they turned the tables, kidnapping and putting her into slavery herself. She's been bought and sold dozens of times by the wealthy, until ending up in the Sultan's hands and then being gifted to Gerhardt. She'd done well in coping with her position until now...but she has grown quite fed up with things. As despite her heritage, Vrae prefers training slaves who want to be slaves...she feels they make the best meat and best property later on. Even worse, her pride as a trainer takes a hit every time she watches Gerhardt or the sloppy slavers work, which Gerhardt takes no end of pleasure making her watch.

The Dessert Section (NPCs)
Zhu Hsiao
Profession: Inn Owner (Pandamonium), ???
Race: Ren Xiongmao (Panda Peoples~)

Zhu is adorable in a manic, sugar-high kind of way. Standing barely five foot and being quite petite it would be easy to mistake her for a child. If not for the mischievous, brilliant green eyes shining out of her face. Like most of kin, she has an odd magnetism and charm to her, even with the grease and small burns that dot her clothes. She is extremely friendly to most, however she is also very blunt and open about her feelings, often saying things most would keep to themselves.

Mei Zhang
Profession: Inn Ownder (Pandamonium), ???
Race: Ren Xiongmao (Red variant)

For everything Zhu is, Mei is the opposite, she is calm, soft and sensual. She paints the more typical picture people think of when her kind are mentioned, diplomatic, gentle and sociable. Standing almost six foot, with a very stacked figure, Mei is almost the total opposite of her counterpart, and yet the pair get along insanely well. The one thing they do have in common is that Mei is just as friendly as Zhu and welcomes people into their Inn with open arms.

Zhu and Mei are two of the very small number of monster people who have remained in Al Daima, as they were part of the original construction and flat out own their inn, as such Gerhardt despite his and his people's best efforts, have been unable to budge them.
