I can't believe I haven't put this thread up yet, but it used to be some of my favorite reading on another website that I "ran" (more like hobbled along with a walker) this game in its infancy.

Well, they technically did have a referendum - however referendums are generally a bad idea.
Also, the 'information' that was provided to win the referendum was also incorrect. So the winning vote was ultimately based on false information and bullshit.

There's a lot going on with it to be honest.

I was always of the opinion that politicians should BE FORCED to work as a farmer for a few decades before they took office...

And this quote from someone more intelligent than I really caught my attention, referring to the United States presidency:

They want power so bad, they can learn the power to make things grow and feed people first.

Sounds like you need some russian electoral advisors there! Lol, they know what the result will be months before the election and it always turns out that way, and everybody is happy. They have to be or they get put in prison!

Woouldn't surprise me if they'd had some involvement in the result of Brexit.

In fact, i'd bet that they did.
