The GM's Character

Unless the players have a serious problem with it, I will be starting my own character to play. I've played as him before in other games, and it has never been a problem and here's why:

As a player, you will be starting out with 150 character points to spend (if you're new to GURPS, don't worry, this will be explained) and I will be starting off at 50 CP to make him.

His name is Gren. He's a halfling. He's not particularly good at anything other than slapstick comedy (at his own unknowing expense).

If it really becomes an issue, I will usher his snarky little ass right out of the game, no hard feelings.

A carnivorous, turkey-sized bird. Harmless by itself but a real threat in groups of ten or more.

Bogwoolys are large crustaceans that have evolved to resemble large patches of moss, until they attack, shooting out "vines" to entangle their prey. The vine-like appendages move quickly, but as ambush predators, they don't themselves.

Roll against DX to avoid restraining vines. If captured, player rolls 1d-3 and are pinned in one spot for that many turns, but can still use their arms unless they critically fail the DX roll.

It takes two turns for a Bogwooly to approach, whereupon they can inflict 1d-4 damage per turn with their claws.

1d-3 turns restraint
1d-4 slashing damage
